Oh and to answer a very frequent question: if you'd like to get a mini jeep for yourself, the one I'm driving is a genuine patented Coolster gk-6125a coolster.com/vehicles/gk-6125a/ Any others are copies and often don't even have suspension, or are rear engined so they don't turn corners đŹ
And as I said, the next mini-jeep video reveals the stupidest thing I've ever done.
Cheers
Ed
I seriously need a Netflix show or something with multiple seasons man. The humor the narration the animations. Your channel is as good as anything on tv
Better than anything on tv you mean

One of the things that I love most about travelogues is that they highlight how most people are basically decent and good and eager to assist anyone in need. Let's build a world full of smiles and helping hands.

Yep true
I've heard utah is a pretty decent place to be in terms of good people. Cant say I've heard the same about a lot of other places. There are many places I will specifically refuse to ever go simply because of how deranged and unacceptable most of the residents are. But again this isnt everywhere

That Panoramic sky shot of the Salt Flats IS SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER SEEN! BEAUTIFUL....40 MILES? Truly a master of drone Photography
The engine wasn't dying, it was running lean. Thats why you had overheating and thats why it didn't wanna idle. Its carburetted so all you need to do is unscrew the throttle and slide the tiny clip that sits on the needle down one slot and under the carb there is a tiny screw, you just screw that out about half a turn and that will make your mixture more rich and give you back performance. Of course im saying this after the fact, but now you know for the future.
damn we need Ed to see this!!!
If only he knew that would save the trip!đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ
Interesting. I wonder if that will be discovered at the start of the next episode, or if he ends up replacing the entire engine?
Key is to realize that and do it BEFORE the rings are nothing but a distant memory... lol
I thought most new engines these days do not have an adjustment screw due to EPA, got to drill out the jet? I was also wondering if he had air filter issues. In that terrain you probably want to clean the filter and change the oil every stop.
lol, as i sit here and wait for the premier i read the description, and see "And as I said, the next mini-jeep video reveals the stupidest thing I've ever done".

Little tips with the rope plug kit. Do it with air in the tyre. It's much easier. And give the plug a twist once it's in.

Oh, and Merry Christmas Ed :-)
Thanks! I know you needed a new motor to finish this trip. I used to have a Chinese go kart and Iâm surprised your jeep has made it as far as it has.
What a fun adventure. Almost wanna buy my own mini Jeep đđ
FYI: aside from laying a memory foam cushion down, you can put a fan powered seat cooler on top of it for a much more comfortable ride. Air is forced through a ribbed seat cover that pushes up from the bottom and forward from the backrest. I doubt that the jeep comes with a 12 volt plug so you would have to wire it yourself. Maybe position an additional battery in back with a solar trickle charger mounted on the crossbar.
Tack!
ÂĄGracias!
Yo, use the tire plugs with a little bit of air in the tire and it's way easier. Trying to plug a flat tire while it flexes sucks lol
Edit: Oh, also smearing the plug with some rubber cement before you put it in makes for a more reliable fix.
Edit 2: Since I'm here, might as well mention that cooling down the already overheated engine block with water (especially for an air cooled engine) is not nice to it. You're cooling primarily the block when you pour water on it, which slightly shrinks and pinches the still-hot pistons. Then, when the block feels cooler, the engine is started back up, but the hot pistons and rings don't have enough clearance in the cool cylinders and it slowly eats either the piston, rings or cylinder wall. The safest way to cool an overheated engine is to just wait.
Yes, him pouring water on his engine probably is the cause of his severe engine issues
Yeah thatâs great advice. Itâs amazing that it was so durable to those extreme temperature changes.
Idk why but that bomb edit fuccin killed me đđ
