- This week is our final trip metal detecting this 1750's house that has given up an enormous amount of old coins, silver, relics, and even GOLD! Well the last trip certainly didn't disappoint with even more old coins, even more awesome relics, and even more GOLD! Every time we do an old house that I think can't get ant better we seem to just get on to a better one!
Also, if you dig up or find an old kids toy vehicle and are thinking about getting it restored, consider contacting Kevin who fabricated the awesome truck for me in this video. You can reach him at the following email and have him work his magic on it!

Hey Guys
The medal Rich found at 14:30 was a St Benedict medallion. Hope that helps! I must continue watching!! HH from Ireland 🇮🇪
That was a shingle hammer.
Agreed..for wooden shake shingles
Yup, for splitting and shaping cedar shingles
Yup, for splitting and shaping cedar shingles
Yup, for splitting and shaping cedar shingles
Oh man, I was just about to call out shingle hammer.
Not sure who Kevin is, but he worked some real magic on those trucks! Thanks for another great episode guys!
Thank you had a lot of fun doing them!
By the way I’m Kevin lol
Great job Doug with camera duty ! Rich never disappoints. Always look forward to watching you guys ! Cheers from the Hudson Valley NY
The axe is a roofing axe. It has two heads on either side of the handle. One head is a sharp blade that is used for cutting roof shingles.
The other head is a hammer, which is for pounding in roofing nails when fixing shingles to the roof.
That cabinet pull was for sure part of a high boy. In the early 1880's the high boys went out of style. So they would take them outside and burn them up. They would be worth thousands today. At least thats what they said on the Antique Road Show.
Helluva restoration on that truck!
Thank you
Rich has been on fire lately. Nice job Rich! You all did great, including ol Dougie-pooh!
Beautiful finds with that touch of comedy
Doug thank you for finishing out the video, great job!
Thanks for staying on the yard Doug. You make a decent squire for the hoarder.
Richard Nixon wrecked the gold standard, but Richard Nicksem is bringing it back.
Thanks to the land owners too.
Great job Doug.
Great finds - Kevin did an awesome job on the truck 👍🏻
Thank you
Great digs gents. Doug you did a great job. The buckle is amazing. 👍😘📲📸
nice old roofing hatchet, used for cedar shake shingles. The belt buckle was epic.
People say, "How did you miss those items?" and to sum it up, no one gets it all. I've been places day after day and ask myself how did I miss that. Always Tuesday is quarter time thank you
Been out of commission for awhile. Great to see all of you out! Great finds! Nice Dog Tag Doug cam! Hope you had a nice trip Jason!
Wow that is amazing! You should have him do 4 and feature them on your Channel that's pretty cool
BOB OVER ON THE HOOVER BOYS IS THE ONLY 1877 INDIAN HEAD PENNY I HAVE SEEN. YOU GUYS DO FANTASTIC ON ALL YOUR DIGS, KEEP IT UP.
That truck came out better than any I have seen restored. Kevin did a phenomenal job!
Thank you kind sir! It is a passion of mine and I enjoy it almost as much as metal detecting
@@waterboy1002 you do phenomenal work buddy! That work is something to be extremely proud of!
Amazing finds fellas 💥👌🤌🏼
Glad to see the truck finished…looks awesome.
Thank you
Excellent video guys. All those cool finds like the drape bust coin and the religious medallion and the awesome sterling silver with gold buckle Rich found and the IHP's Doug's friend Chris finding silver and Jason and Doug's trucks very nice.
Great truck restoration!
Thank you
I believe the metal piece Joe found is called an adze. Rich's belt slide is gorgeous!
Love the bonus Doug cam!
Another great hunt guys. Thank you for sharing it. That old-styley "old-school" roofing hammer/hatchet head is a beauty! Last time I set eyes on one of them was in my Pappy's work-shop on our farm, back-a-long in the early '60's. All the best, from Cornwall UK.
You hit it right on the head with the roofing hammer, the hatched side is for splitting cedar shake to the correct size.
Right on with the hatched head. We used a lathing hatchet when I put a new roof over the bar at Crumplehorn Inn in Polperro. I was landlord there for 18 years, I live in Canada now. Have you done any detecting up on Bodmin Moor around Jamaica Inn?
Awesome job guys. And Doug excellent filming, thank you
What a Beautiful Silver Buckle Rich. That Yard Jason wow. Wish there were yards like that where I live in Nevada. Great finds. Doug your an awesome camera man. Love the Religious Medallion. The feferbished trucks you got. Wow very nice. The Gentleman dose a fantastic job on restoration. Take Care all of you

Thank you so much if you ever need one done look me up!
Rich’s medal is a St. Benedict medal. Very powerful against the forces of evil. St. Benedict reformed the religious monasteries in his time. The guy on the medal is him and he was a monk.
Awesome finds , Awesome work on the toy truck and, Congrats to All
Thank you
You guys are so awesome
Beautiful job on the trucks!
Thank you
Great job Dog tag Doug on filming, some incredible finds, rich's belt buckle was awesome. can't wait to see what you guys find on the other house

That is a St Benedict of Nursia, that Rich found. Very nice. 14:59
Wow, that guy did an amazing job on the restoration of those trucks.
Thank you if you ever want one done look me up!
@waterboy1002 I will do that. I found a blimp car. I would like to bring back to like. Not bent but missing tires
Can't wait!
Those restoration trucks are absolutely magnificent!
Thank you very much
Rich found a Saint Benito medallion. It protects against evil. People sometimes planted it in the ground near the four corners of the house to protect the house
Once more great hunt. Not a bad job by Doug.
Doug you did a Great Job!!! Rich you are Absolutely Amazing!!! God Bless Us All!!!
I like to watch those toy car restoration videos. They do amazing work. Yall got some incredible finds. And I know what you mean when you say you keep finding stuff when you already searched the yard before. I've been over my yard over 20 times, and STILL find stuff every time.....including coins (though they're mostly modern). Money's money. Lol. And imagine finding an actual doubloon?!! If I did I'd be hospitalized 😂. And Doug was getting pelted with walnuts? I know the pain brother. I get destroyed by hickory nuts when I go out searching in my yard. Lol
I tried to do videos of my restorations but unfortunately it took away some of the enjoyment for me so I decided not to continue! I do however take photos of the process so who ever I do it for has a photo story of the restorations
Waaaaaaooooo rich tocayo nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍beautiful video guys 👍👍👍👍 saludos desde Chicago 🖖🖖🖖🖖✌️
Nice hunt guys thanks for sharing!!!!!
It would take far too long to identify every great find, but Rich's silver/gold buckle is astounding- never seen anything like that in all my 30+ years of doing this! The rest of the coppers and silver was great as well. And leave to a Mass guy to fix those trucks the way he did- incredible! Looking forward to more "killing it" next week!
Actually from Connecticut lol but thank you for the awesome comnent
Watch out Jason, I think Doug is trying to take over with how good he was when you were gone 😂
"SCHOONER LUCY EVELYN" Very cool guys.
@Quarter Hoarder Jason the truck looks amazing, I would display a dug photo of the truck in your display with it 😉
Thank you and I sent him many pics of the process after I sent him the truck o he would be actually surprised of the results when he opened it!
Rich's buckle was beautiful, and the trucks were awesome. Thanks for another fun video, Dougbert Hitchcock did a great job directing
Thank you
Great finds guys! And the truck restorations were awesome!! Thanks for sharing The video Jason!!
Thank you
Wow, that belt slide is stunning.
Great job Doug!
Instead of Quart, I think " quo Ho " would be a cooler nickname. Great show!!
Bob from The Hoover boys dig an 1877 Indian a couple years ago or so, whole crew was ecstatic as they should be lol
Could have sworn that Doug or someone dug an 1877 IHP and it was down near a wet spot...maybe it was one of the Hoover Boys clan.
As someone else already stated, the ax is for making shingles.
Nice restoration on the truck 🚚 Nice sterling silver belt slide
Thank you
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL. Those finds were amazing 👏
As always another great video and always nice to see all the guys together
The ship on the token was called the Lucy Evelyn. It was indeed a gift shoo in the late 1960 and early 1970's. Went there often when visiting my grandparents.
Awesome finds guys
Good job Douggie
Nicely done guys I enjoyed the video. 🇺🇸 😮
St. BENEDICT medal....Google for full details! Lol It is absolutely a Catholic medal! Great find with no Nick's Richard!🤣You guys did awesome at that amazing home!

Thank you! Restoring old toys is so much fun!
For making wood shingles.Nice find.
Have a great VACATION QH & Family!!!! Another fabu adventure QH Crew! Ritchie Rich is killing it this year alongside you pair!!!!
Awsome job my peeps
You guys should put your old coins in the back of the trucks bed 😊
The Axe is a lathing axe. It is for splitting and nailing laths to wall beams / studs and roofing laths prior to plastering. Fantastic belt buckle! Loved the Treasure Talk livestream last night, it was a great show the three of you.
💥💥💥I found a rusty old double bitted hatchet. They have makers marks on them. Used electrolysis. Cleaned up nice. Mine said, "HOME DEPOT 2.5." I know it's old because the rubber handle is crumbling. I'm just saying your not the only one to find a super nice old hatchet head.
AMAZING!!!!
Great stuff as always guys, well done!
16:00 that's a Saint Benedict pendant
Great job Doug👍Fantastic finds guys.
Ur the best keep em coming 😊😊😊

Kurt from the Hoover Boys found the elusive 1877 IHC!!
Love your videos
Great time guys! Doug awesome fill in work!
The ax thing is a shingle hammer.
The piece that you thought was an ax is actually roofers hammer...The hatchet part was used to trim cedar shakes ...
Who's the lady that follows you guys around all the time, give that gal a metal detector 😂
Fantastic finds. Great work guys👍🏻
It's a splitting head for splitting it down to size for the wood burning stove
That belt buckle at the end was SICK..congratulations Rich! What a great place to detect! Good luck on your next hunt 👍
That religious piece is as far as I know Saint Benedict's charm. We find them in Europe quite often. Some of them are quite old. My oldest is from the 17th century. Great find nonetheless!
That chisel looking thing is a shingling hammer.
Great finds guys congrats what a great permission so many historical finds
Great hunt guys can’t wait till next week God Bless and happy dirt fishing…Virgil
Doug you're doing a great job as always.
Ty @QH AND FAMILY
Roofing hammer.
