It didn't deserve the amount of hate it got, but it did deserve a good slap on the wrist. Story and some of the sidequests were top notch, wish there were more cause & effect missions like the one with Militech vs Maelstrom, more branching options and more interesting characters. Hope the future DLCs will scratch this itch.
Well... I just finished playing Phantom Liberty and while it doesn't end well for V, it fits well for you the player. Your character basically ends how he or she began, another nameless nobody with no upgrades, chrome, leather outfit or weapons. Just another blank NPC like the thousands you ran past while doing quests over the course of the game. In order to save yourself, you must betray Songbirds trust and in doing so, you lose everything. I see it as her last curse on V for handing her back to the President. At the end, a final goodbye from Misty wearing Jackie's jacket feeling like it was him saying farewell to V at the end of his or her story before V vanishes into the crowd, never to be seen again... like your character gets deleted And since CPR said that this would be the only DLC, the story ends, and Darkness sets apon the game world... because you stopped playing.
I wish the game had more of a lifesim type of approach, with more focus on small, immersive details in the world, and how you interact with it. Like Red Dead Redemption 2.
So, what ive been watching and looking, as far as ambient sounds go are really from a game? I'm not a gamer, just like graphics in video, and have wondered why vid names don't give description as to what I'm actually seeing and what's going on. Thanks
This is the state the game is in right now, darkness. The jobs and quest I did seem like a distant memory compared to replaying the endings every now and then. The Sun will only rise when DLC finally comes out at some point next year. No game no matter how immersive, can go on forever and the sun will set on this game forever with only dark remaining...
Loved the game. Thankfully didn't run into too many problems playing on PC

Unfortunately can only put a max of 1 hour using playstation. I hope they change that one day.
