I know how you feel. Very scary and painful. Are you on antibiotics? Are they helping you? Mine started November 23, 2022. Now it is December 28, 2022. Still have the pain , cramps, not much poo. I am scared too. Laxatives are not working. Neither are the antibiotics

After my diverticulitis infection I thought I could not eat seeds anymore. The emergency room gave me a sheet that said that. But they used old data. Seeds do not cause the infection.
A whole food diet is the only thing that works for me. If I eat highly processed foods I get symptoms... I haven't had the bad infection again but I'm prone to ibs symptoms if I eat processed foods. I also smoked cigarettes until a couple months ago.
It's only an anecdote but whole food diet and quitting smoking have helped me so much.

Very difficult to obtain unless you're using specific stuff like fiber rich foods other than that everything that we eat has like negative 1 g of fiber so you'd have to eat like 25 hamburgers to get 25 g it's crazy and no don't eat 25 burgers

This is BS! About 80% of my diet is fruits and veggies, the other 20% is fish, chicken, nuts, yogurt, dates, prunes, ect, I rarely eat red meat these days other than an occasional burger. I also don't smoke, I work out 5 days a week, the fluids I put in my body is water, fruit smoothies with no added sugar, green tea & honey and a variety of tea with herbal and healing properties. Now I do take supplements like omega 3, vitamin b12, Manganese , Reservatrol, Tru Niagen - but other than that I don't eat junk!!

My friend said he cured himself from diverticulitis with the protocol below:
Week 1,2: Purchase diatomaceous earth (food grade). Start with one tablespoon mixed with grape juice or something non acidic. Do this a few days a week for a two week period.
Week 3,4: take EB (Earth’s Bounty) Oxy-Cleanse as directed on the bottle for a couple of weeks.
Lastly: Take Triphala Extract 1500mg to heal.
The process is long but well worth it according to my friend.

Better than laxatives and antibiotics right? The antibiotics kill my gut health and this year I was healthy, until I was bitten by a Dog twice, 5 months apart, the doctors prescribed major doses of antibiotics even interveniously for nine days. Both times I got CDIFF! I am guessing that the CDIFF caused the diverticulitis. I don't want to take ciprofloxacin or Bactrim with 1500 Metronidazole. For sure I will get CDIFF again, which eats the stomach lining and the colon
