    I bought the Bobbi Brown corrector stick kind of on a whim. One of the best purchases ever. It’s just the right color for my skin and light weight enough to not feel it while wearing and doesn’t crease or settle. A permanent part of my makeup now.

    TBH I skipped the NIRA content as I can’t be bothered to spend all that time on a device. I appreciate how upfront your were about the partnership from the beginning of the video so I am surprised at the negative comments. I was interested in the make-up content. I’m a great Bobbi Brown corrector fan and my pot is about to be panned so I’m pleased to hear that the stick is a good alternative. I appreciate and trust your opinions on topics I’m interested in and will be back for more.

      Lasers can be drying. You have to hydrate :) But they rebuild collagen, so I'm not sure how that would happen unless you were just extra dry! I love the Nira Precision. I'm around day 120. I've been using it on level 5 for about 6 weeks now. At 73 I've seen definite improvement in my under eyes and above my upper lip. In combination with my NuFace Trinity I see less deepening of the nasolabial folds. I've started using it on my sun damage spots and they look faded to me. Of course I use products on those spots at bedtime as well. I use the Bobbi Brown color corrector on my sun damage spots before foundation. I don't need it under my eyes. It does help camouflage those brown spots. Since you love Double Wear you might want to try the new Smashbox Always On foundation. Risa and Tati both really liked it. Risa even did a comparison to Double Wear. 😊

I need to save it’s life. 😂 Thanks for all of your recommendations, and I’m thinking of purchasing the NIRA. When 23 different content creators are all talking about the same device in 3 days, there is no credibility there. Just skip the sponsorship next time if you want respect.

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  Před rokem +81

      Hi Melisa. There were so many nicer ways to word that. Wow. To help you understand - When we accept sponsorships we have no idea how many other creators a brand signs onto a campaign or if it’s a one-off with just us. That information is confidential. For all I knew this was the only campaign they were doing. I worked with them because I genuinely love it and have great results with it. Just because this turned out to be a campaign flight with several creators to celebrate their 4th anniversary (which is common among tv or radio campaigns and now CZcams ) doesn’t make me any less genuine about how I feel. And why wouldn’t I speak about a product I absolutely love and can attest to? It doesn’t make me or anyone else dishonest or not credible. I have proven results from a year ago and present day that speak to how I use it and stand by it. So you’re basically saying to never take sponsorships, which is part of how I and many here on CZcams earn money to bring you the free content you enjoy. A sponsorship doesn’t change how honest creators feel about a product. Those of us who value our integrity don’t work with brands we don’t believe in. And if you don’t trust a creator you watch to be honest with ALL of their content, whether it’s me or someone else, perhaps you should reevaluate whether you should watch them at all.

      @Notperfecttonya Před rokem +17

      I don’t think this is suspicious. Nira is celebrating their 4th anniversary. Nordstrom advertises the hell out of their Anniversary Sale and sometimes they do that by giving certain content creators a certain amount of $ to spend in their store. That’s advertising. 😊 Yes, all my favorite creators are doing this campaign and I don’t mind. I can make up my own mind if I want to buy the product. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Stephanie, you look great but attributing the newfound lift and tautness in your cheeks, jaw and lip area to a new Nira laser??? I really have trouble with influencers singing the praises of devices when there’s more that contributed to your new-found fresh look (Risa included). Nothing wrong with having work done… I’ve had procedures myself but trying to equate it to a single device that is paying you is disturbing.

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  Před rokem +3

      Wow. You're coming onto my channel and calling me a liar? I'm quite stunned to get this kind of comment from you. First off, My “new-found fresh look” has been a gradual process over the course of a year or so. I’ve had ZERO procedures and really don’t appreciate you coming in here and telling me that I have. It’s 100% false. I’ve been using devices. Period. Done. The end. And guess what? They WORK. I’ve been using them to see if they can work well enough to stave off procedures. Second, it’s 2023, and no longer taboo to openly talk about in-office or even surgical procedures. My job as a beauty creator is to create content that helps my viewers in some way. So wouldn’t it make more sense, and be more helpful and beneficial to my viewers, for me to share my experiences if I was getting procedures done? I've built my entire platform on being upfront and honest with my viewers...with everything I test, review, and with the brands I work with. How would it benefit me or my viewers in any way to be dishonest at this point? I would never compromise the trust of my viewers over one single partnership because nothing matters without that trust. It’s mind-boggling to think that you believe a channel focused on maturing women - a channel whose entire premise is to help that demographic - would be deceitful in such a way. Offers are plentiful and I'm extremely selective with whom I work with. I clearly don't have botox since I have full facial movement. And if you're insinuating I have fillers, my cheek puffiness is from weight gain, which I'm not happy to have to say. So there's your fun embarrassing answer to that. Third, I talked about my eyes in this video. I'm confused why you're saying anything about my cheeks, jaw, and lips. Did you not watch the video closely before you made your comment? Lasers, LED, microcurrent, and nanocurrent have been used for years in dermatologists offices to tighten skin, brighten, lift,, firm, and rebuild collagen. And now we have this tech at home and it works. There's a reason I'm compliant with the devices I'm compliant with - because I see results. Plus, they can be used concurrently to address different needs...which is where the other facial changes you see are coming from. I showed what I've seen from Nira - and I'm extremely happy with my results. It's great that you're using procedures. But I'm having a great time testing and using at-home devices right now. There may come a point where I need more. But I'm seeing how far they can take me right now. What kills me is that no matter what creator you apparently "trust", how long you've been watching them, or how good the tech is, there are still viewers such as yourself that think the worst in people and think we’ll be unethical and I'm sad about that. I’ve said from the start that I would never compromise my integrity for a brand or product and I stand by that. Coming into someone's comment section and accusing them of lying is not a good look and I'm surprised to see this comment from you.

      I don’t think the worst, Stephanie and said nothing about Botox and fillers. Don’t put words in my mouth. I simply believe that when asked ‘you look great, I’d love to know what you’re doing?’ Receive no information and then see a video promoting a product it leaves me wondering. I know you’re a busy gal and have a life but truly hearing your journey when you look great is a valid question. I sincerely apologize for upsetting you.

      Hi again Becky, I've talked about Nira off and on over the past year or more since I first shared it on my channel. I've shared skincare routines and other devices for a long time. While you didn't specifically say the words "botox and fillers", "having work done" and "procedures" is the same thing and is what you said. I'm certain that anyone would view the following as accusatory: "attributing the newfound lift and tautness in your cheeks, jaw and lip area to a new Nira laser??? I really have trouble with influencers singing the praises of devices _when there’s more_ that contributed to your new-found fresh look" and ""trying to equate it to a single device that is paying you is disturbing." If someone said that to you, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't perceive that as someone simply asking what you were doing. I appreciate your understanding of why your initial comment was upsetting and for the apology.
