Nuzlocke RULES:
1. If a Pokémon faints it is considered dead and can’t be used.
2. I can only catch my first Red encounter on each Route/Town.
3. No items in battle(Held items allowed)
4. I must play the game on "Set" rules.
5. I cannot be higher than the gym leader/elite 4's ace.

tbh suprisingly, in my opinion, gyarados is the best option here for surge, he can learn secret power which founed in route 25 behind a trainer and cut tree, you can gring gyarados to a poit where if he ko's voltorb he will level up to 25 so he can learn the move dragon rage and 2 secret powers can ko voltorn, and some dragon rage can deal with the rest of his team, he can tank a shock wave from raichu i think becuase his sp. defense is way to high in that game

Even though it's a much easier game, I used this team in let's go Pikachu. It's actually pretty well balanced
Pikachu: the speed demon
Snorlax: your defensive fort wall
Poliwrath: your foot soldier
Gyarados: your all out attacker
Aerodactyl: your aerial support
Venasaur: a tank that provides so much utility.
Yuppp, basically all the reasons why his team was awesome!

You should do what I call an NPC run. Where I only catch pokemon I talk too like jigglypuff and the clifairy that bill turned into. And I can't catch them till I talk to them unless u can't start the run such as this case u can catch a nidoran because Mr. Fuji

Also, I get Bruno is a fighting type trainer, but there's no reason he doesn't have the other two fighting types, but no, two Onix was a good idea when both Poliwrath and Primeape are RIGHT there.

That Mean with Pikachu,gengar,dracovish,dragonite,lucario, and sirfetch'd with the moves they use with a level cap you don't have to do with nuzlocke rules, but still that be very amazing
