  • Yup, an EPIC FAIL indeed! A pretty bad DOOR DISEASE (causing the elevator to almost get stuck) - CAUGHT ON CAMERA!
While the epic fail was kind of surprising, it does look that these elevators are quite undermaintained. The entire apartment building looks undermaintained too - the hallways are dark, the floor indicators outside are flickering, burnt out buttons, and so on. Looks like a questionable complex, and besides the lobby floor, the elevator lobbies look questionable.
The service elevator was also there, but I didn't bother riding it because I was already out of time and that door disease experience made me not want to ride these anymore, lol...

It's door drive program malfunctions, need to reprogram the codes and to check limit switches

1:13 Idk why the door was disease like that, Maybe it's because the age elevator is very older.

Did you try the other elevator? Is it doing the same problem?

@@wintorialslift try the other one next time, maybe the door problem is with the elevator you rode on but not on the other one. In UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, they are plenty of Mitsubishi’s looking exactly like the one in the video despite they are from the 90’s the ride quality is extremely smooth. My old apartment building in Abu Dhabi has these exact same elevator design also from 1995/96, ride quality is amazing, the maintenance here in the UAE is pretty strict.
