They happen to be the same chimes. Also, those elevators are in Mall Kelapa Gading 3. The elevators in that specific timestamp are in Kalibata City, Jakarta.

I actually wonder why the management chose Iris model for the rest (which iirc was made mostly in the Dalian factory in China?), while these two are Muse which as far as I know was still manufactured in South Korea. Also, I wonder who holds maintenance for these elevators, considering that for some odd reason some of the (additional?) escalators are Pillar.

@@wintorialslift I'm guessing IRIS was the best and most affordable option that they could choose since it's a low entry model cheaper than Di1/Di2 from South Korea. I'm also wondering why did they choose MUSE rather than Solon for these elevators, but upon looking at both the MUSE and Solon Standard brochure I suspect the reason could be like this. At that time the maximum capacity of MUSE and Solon Standard was 1600 kg and 1150 kg respectively. It was possible that the owner was planning to install these MRL elevators with bigger capacity like nearly all the other elevators, but because of Solon's maximum capacity the owner decided to install MUSE instead. That's just my theory btw.

Yes. Marohn TKE is considered a "cheaper" version of typical TKE elevators, so one of the ways they cheap out is using a 3rd party controller (Monarch).

Seems LG-OTIS branding is a bit more common around here actually. I can't quite name many LG-OTIS branded elevators (besides the service lifts at MKG 3 and a building in Panglima Polim) in Jakarta alone.

@@wintorialslift The weird thing is that despite the Sigma brand was already launched for export markets in 2001, why did LG-OTIS still use the LG-OTIS name for overseas markets even as far as to the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

I believe the top speed is still the same, as the Thyssen motors were retained after the mod. But it's clear the acceleration and deceleration are much slower.

Yeah... I'm quite sure that before 2018 or so, ThyssenKrupp still did maintenance on these (the maintenance barriers had the ThyssenKrupp logo). But yeah, despite these elevators now losing all their character and uniqueness, these are at least still more acceptable than whatever garbage mods Horison's elevators got. Those elevators feel so much more "tin can" and over/undershoot enough to need to relevel every single time, and the Tamiang (even) unit in Tower 3 seems to be a bit slower.

Considering ElegantMRL uses Miconic MX-GC controller (which is used on 5400AP & 5500, both known models to have call cancel feature), it'd make sense that ElegantMRL can have the ability to cancel calls too.

@@wintorialslift I didn't think of that all this time lol, considering Elegant MRL is extremely rare at where I lives now (not for too long for me anyway).

Seems this is a common older Shanghai STEP (generic) indicator. When Hyundai was still producing cheaper-model elevators with Shanghai STEP buttons, indicators, & controllers, yes they used indicators similar to this one.

Ikr? Misaligned and dirty door tracks, non-functional bumper, weird sounds on the shaft... Considering this mall can afford major branded escalators (Schindler & OTIS), I'd hope at some point this gets replaced into a Schindler 5000 or something, though considering how quiet this mall is (especially since Giant closed here in 2021), I'm not sure the management even has the funds to do such a replacement. The passenger elevator also needs a complete replacement IMO, it's been derelict for the past 2 years or so.

Seems to be a particularly common theme in some older Agung Podomoro properties. Gading Mediterania Residences' elevators are the same - all intermediate floors has both call buttons wired for downwards direction.

Nexiez MRL is for the elevator with max. 1600 kg capacity. the bigger capacity for MRL type is now Elenessa

Wonder whether this is a different voice pack. The typical AAN-G elevator voices (ie the ones heard in Grand Indonesia, Jakarta) sound quite different.

Yeah, the only issue I have with them now are the fact that the cabs are just typical boring stainless steel. Especially with the Seibu ones which used to have nice cabs, hope they redecorate them.

Replacement, not a mod. If it was a mod, the original cab, door tracks, and some equipment would still remain. Plus, Mitsubishi can't mod older non-Mitsubishi elevators (their modernization model, ELEMOTION, is only compatible with older Mitsubishi branded elevators)

This is more so a full replacement. No signs of the old elevator remain at all.

Like the take you got in October 2020 (iirc) right? Wonder why it happens though.
