- I am SO excited to watch Gabby's comeback in the All-Around after 8 years of not competing! It must have been so hard for her to keep her training a secret until recently, and she has shared so many new training clips that make me even more excited to watch her compete! This video shows some of her potential routines on each event at the Winter Cup and for later in the season as she makes her run for the Paris Olympic team. Comment down below what you think about these routines!

Update: Gabby unfortunately withdrew from the Winter Cup due to a positive COVID test, so us gym fans will have to wait a little longer for her comeback. Hope to see her come back strong!
The floor should include a double layout she's been training that skill almost a year now
Love that she back!! Go Gabby
I think this might be a bit much for her first competition but wouldn’t be surprised if she had this much difficulty by the time nationals came around. Great job on the beam composition
I love that beam routine construction for her. I think it's doable and the first mount series is strong. Might take out the final switch ring if it's costing her execution but we'll see what it looks like at Winter Cup/Nationals
I think her floor can be optimized. I think she should do the front 1/1 to full-in instead, which I heard she's training for that combo? I think her tumbling runs should be (1) double layout (2) front 1/1 to full-in (3) double Arabian + stag OR just a simple double tuck. Dance: double L + double turn, double Y, switch ring, Gogean or Ferrari
----D score: F E E C D D D C = 3.4 + 0.6 + 2.0 = 6.0
Her bars will be critical to whether she makes the team. 6.4 at least, 6.6-6.7 will be ideal.
I think gabby’s best shot is making the team for beam and bars. I agree if she can get bars up to 6.7 it’ll be tough to not put her on the team
@@alexi8741 I don’t think so, especially if suni is all in for bars and beam. Between suni, shilese and Simone you don’t really need another top bars worker. A floor/vault worker is needed more
@@Bxyxox We'll see how brings the best UB/BB combo in Nationals/Trials. There are 2, if not 3 spots for these ladies and they are between 5 main contenders: Gabby Douglas, Sunisa Lee, Skye Blakely, Simone Biles and obviously Shilese Jones. Everyone else is either a backup AAer or fighting for the 1-2 VT/FX spots
@@BxyxoxSuni and Gabby are evenly matched on both events
Right! Then Skye is already landing the Cheng with good form, upgraded beam, and upgraded bars. Jordan is training the Cheng and going back to training the Amanar and has a new Floor. Simone will make the Team of course. They will probably want 2 other vaulters besides Simone that will score 14s on at least 3 events. I definitely feel like Shilese will be the Top bars worker for US. The new Floor Shilese is working on is going to be crucial! (It sounds crazy to say but I don't think Suni, Gabby, and Shilese will all make the Team)
Never underestimate a champion!
I 🙏Gabby makes the U.S. Olympic team 2024.
SO EXCITED!!! Go gabby
Go Gabby Douglas 💪. Awesome!
Gabby Douglas is back!
I can't wait to see what skills Gabby will perform; she's a great gymnast!
She’s not going to be going due to testing positive for Covid
She’s a force; looking forward
Unfortunately, she posted to Instagram this afternoon that she had to pull out of the Winter Cup due to testing positive for COVID.
I Loved the video. It loos like she i in a great shape. I love the execution of the routines. She is an elegant gymnast, I think she will build enough confidence to do great!
Great performance
I 100% think that is her bars construction
I'm so looking forward to Gabby's. Come back, you made a great point. She has such clean form that will definitely work in her favor. IDK what her stamina or endurance is like, but I'm really excited for her to. Get on the floor
Her bar construction is chef's kiss. D-score isn't matching some of the top bar workers but she's gonna kill it on execution.
She has been shown training a double layout and dos Santos I....Valeri & Anna Liukin will hardly send her off to try for the Olympics without a medal worthy routine on Bars, and beam....
Valeri is the perfect coach for her! If I recall, the Landis were her coaches for 2016. I’m excited to see him back!!! Put the competition on CZcams! I won’t be able to see it and idk if the replay will be on peacock
@@nicolebrown5987her coach back in 2016 was Christian Gallardo
@@nicolebrown5987 I believe the Landis coached Madison Kocian, not Gabby though.
Why were there clips of other athletes added in?
I had the same thought…??
Um enorme apoio para a medalha de grupo
I hope she keeps her low bar work from Rio nobody ever does low bar work except her and Amy Chow!
Why are there insertions of Andrade and Shilese
You're putting so high expectations, those scores idk
I was going to make this exact video with basically these exact same routines.....
Great video and I enjoy it very very much
i could see her throwing 3 passes, but they would probably be a double lay, full in double, and front tuck/layout to double pike/tuck. just testing the waters a little before upgrading to anything crazy
There were shots of several other gymnasts in the middle of those ‘routines’.
❤🎉😊
Will those rings get credited? They look far from ideal...
The ring jump is okay
I hope she skips the switch ring. It's just 0.2 loss in D but avoids more than 0.3 loss in E. I would also recommend changing the ring jump to tuck back. Otherwise her AA program is very solid!
She would lose .6 in D if she were to replace the split ring jump and take out the switch ring.
@@bluepanther1013 Replacing the ring jump by back tuck is -0.2 in D but +0.3 to +0.4 in E. Taking out the switch ring is -0.2 in D but at least +0.3 in E.
How come we suddenly threw Rebecca Andrade into the beam routine?
She need to upgrade the e score of that swicht ring leap :)
She won’t do this floor routine guys it is so unrealistic and she is training a double layout back so she might put this in her routine I think
did you mean to include Rebeca Andrade for the full twist or
Some of the skills you posted in videos that Gabby could possibly perform, weren’t Gabby, but another African-American (or Black gymnast). Interesting to say she is possibly performing these skills, but there’s no video of Gabby doing these skills?
The full turn on beam done by Andrade is a basic skill any gymnast can do. The turn sequence on floor by shilese is different though, not sure if gabby has done a double L turn before
I think she did most of her elite career. It was at the beginning of her routine in Rio
I’m not saying she didn’t do them or can’t perform them, I just makes the video look bad and somewhat the credibility, when you simply cut and paste any Black female gymnast in place of Gabby doing these skills, instead of Gabby doing them. Either have them posted with Gabby, or simply not post them. It appears as if you’re not sure you know who Gabby is, so you just grabbed clips of whatever brown gymnast you could find and put them on this video. And no, I’m not just saying this because she’s Black, I would say the same thing about any gymnast that was thrown in a sequence of videos that was not of them, but they were added to someone else’s training video. It just looks sloppy and half assed.
@@Bxyxox gabby did a double L both in 2012 London (pretty wonky) and 2016 Rio (pretty damn good)
I did the same Shii lol at least they used other niggas instead of using a white gymnast.
Those ring positions on beam just screams Kara Eaker. They’ll have to go.
yeah Valeri should be spending time on her front pike instead of the switch ring idk what he's thinking
The safe option is to replace ring jump by back tuck, and drop the switch ring. If the ring jump is devalued in competition, she won't receive the bonus from the DBB connection. And there will be risk on missing the leap composition requirement.
Is there vid of gabby doing a downie ? So many people are predicting she is gonna do one but she has never done it it before
The reports from the November NTC camp she was at said she was training Downie's and it makes the most sense with the rest of her bar construction.
that’s Rebecca Andrade doing the full turn on beam …
Ugh we all know that
@@kaneluo6148 ----well, I didn't know that.
Are they seriously still testing for Covid? You will be missed Gabby!!
I think she is more likely to do a inbar full to a pike tcatchev
She has been training a Downie for a while so I def believe that she will go for the Downie instead of the piked tkatchev
I don't think she can do inbars still
I hope she does good but I also hope she doesn't get mad like she did the last time she lost!!😊
Because she was robbed
An athlete being upset when things don't go as well as they hoped in some of the biggest moments of their career. What a shocking concept.
@@legolass163no, that’s being a sore loser. Everybody says it’s rigged or robbed everytime their favorite doesn’t win🙄
I’ll be really surprised if she gets credited for any ring element.
I’ll be really surprised if she competes at all, lol
@@leykimayriWatch gabby compete at the us Classic and jessica gadirova miss the olympics lmaooooo
@@legolass163 Jessica is injured. Gabby even if she competes which she won’t, she won’t make the team lol
How here after she dropped out!!! ughhh
I think she's good and really looks good but thair might be better.
well this didn’t age well :/
She won't be competing on bars, so not exciting for me.
She suggested a very serious antidote to yun abusive women in hur craft that was met w antithetical overtones, even when
Law enforcement suggest the same.🙄
Just no.
