For the first time I have met a General from the Nigerian Military, listen to him very strategic, proactive and very practical and very simple but plenty of knowledge.Making all the service commanders,be they Army,Airforce,Intelligence,Police-IG,Navy including Buhari, his defence minister and the entire cabinet look like confirmed IDIOTS.

The problem in Nigeria is that professionals like this were kicked out and replaced with nonentities

Will the idiots incharge allow him help us? Why is this rtd general not allow to be a consultant to be training recruits and the officers? When they tell us they trained their officers, what exactly is the kind of training they gave them? We don't understand what we are witnessing.

Let us be reminded that Gen Godwin Alabi Isama was born 24 Dec 1940 to an Ukwani (Delta State) Father and a Yoruba from Ilorin (Kwara State) mother. This General ought to be made a consultant to the Nigeria Defence Minister, if he cannot be made the minister of Defence. He appeared well trained and educated

Why are you calling these people BANDITS ? Calling them bandit makes them liable to justice for judgement. But if they are identified as terrorists. They can be disposed off if they are found with arms at hand. Président Buhari delibrately anounced that terrorist they should be addressed as Bandit in other to have some opportunity to keep them alive if arrested... Buhari and the government know who the terrorists are. A Confirm statement

Articulate and knowledgeable. The fact is that that region is the underbelly of the north. The level of violence is incredible. War has been in those countries for decades. France has some top citizens of their own making money for France. Private armies are the norm. They call them guards. The northern leaders have no answer. They hide this in order to remain in power. If the region spills over into Nigerian territory as we now see; Nigeria will collapse. Actually Nig is history. The south cannot help the north and the division is bad for unity. The future portends great change in the west African religion.

    This is brilliant.
Although, the train also have armed men escorting it. Mopol. I don't think they are more than 10. And when the bandits attacked, they were over powered.

The General spoke well. But he should have put this into consideration, assuming they work with informants both in the military and outside the military.
    What approach should be taken.
This his approach of no killing or consequences will always empower other forms of insurgency to come up.
    My thought.

STUPID Omatseye. NdIgbo should worship Buhari for building the 2nd Niger Bridge? Whose money? Is it Buhari's money? Not the nation's commonwealth, majority of which is from the south? Who will pay for all the debts borrowed, on inflated contracts? Not Nigerians? All the enjoyment and medical tourism of Buhari abroad, are at whose expense? Not the same NdIgbo and others? Let him give us security. He has FAILED in his primary duty.
