Some state governments of our own country are ready to give Red Carpet Welcome against the wishes of the Central Government. Tesla company is not ready to pay 100 percent import duty prescribed by the Government of India to enter the Indian market and wants concession in it. The big thing is that Tesla does not even want to pay import duty and does not want to set up its plant in India.

हमारे ही देश की कुछ राज्य सरकारें, केन्द्र सरकार की मर्जी के ख़िलाफ़ अपने यहां Red Carpet Welcome देने के लिए तैयार हैं। Tesla कम्पनी भारतीय बाज़ार में प्रवेश करने के लिए, भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित 100 प्रतिशत Import Duty देने के लिए तैयार नहीं है और उसमें रियायत चाहती है। बड़ी बात ये है कि Tesla, Import Duty भी नहीं देना चाहती और भारत में अपना Plant भी नहीं लगाना चाहती।

Like the apple is a American brand but apple phones are produced in China because of large number of population there,its profitable for the company and the government and it will also make the price of product very cheap because of large number of production

State governments should not interrupt in these matters.The whole country is run by Central Government. Very good analysis by Sudhir ji. Every sovereign state has its own right of doing things in it's way. Why to give free ride to Tesla in India? Elon must should make cars in India if he wants to sell it there. At the same time our Indian auto companies should put more efforts in making excellent electric vehicles, they need to win people's trust in quality & reliability.
