This is a really good effort and also an amateur, as it says in the video description, so maybe we should all back off about how out of tune it is?

Actually a nice piece for beginners. But the piano part is composed way over the top and full of too many big chords in my opinion. It overwhelms the violin part.

I disagree: I think it is a very lovely piano part with beautiful chords that are supportive of the violin part and makes the violinist feel as though playing with a whole orchestra. I could see how it would be overwhelming if the pianist acts as soloist and not accompanist, though. Likewise, it might be overwhelming if the soloist is playing on one of the tinier fractional sizes, but I think it is a good exercise.
