If someone can mistake the grand canyon for one of the many plot holes in this season, just worrying about a storm in this scenario actually makes sense.

You know what really stands out to me? The fact that so many fans don't know about his depression. In this episode he addresses how hard it is and how it can feel as if dealing with an enemy that makes things up on the file.
I get that most people will come for the Abridged series alone, but all of us should at least take the time to view one of his "We're still here" videos. This man deals with a lot and sometimes saying something as small as "You're doing great, stay strong" would be nice. I watch a lot of his videos and there's some where LK can barely hold back tears. We should at least consider being there for him as well.

Man, Dartz’ speech at 21:22 was really solid. The writing there was actually pretty compelling. How Takahata somehow managing to make Dartz somehow menacing and credible through that ridiculous voice is a testament to how good of an actor he is.

Pretty much but difference here is that, him being a monster is more of being with Leviathan and continuing his quest since Leviathan to him isn't just some monster and they're still trying to end humanity and shit. This is more like Dartz resorting to Plan B and being one with the Oricalcamalos or some BS. Also doesn't change the fact that Abridged Yami does suck as a person/hero even after Season 4 though we only had one S5 episode so far.

This entire exchange was gold. I laughed so much when I first saw it and still do. LittleKuriboh's humour is my favourite.
Dartz's voice has always been a highlight of this arc and i figured after hearing if for awhile i would get used to it, BUT NO!! the exact freaking opposite. Every single sentence he spoke here had me cracking up like a mad man. "oh son of a gun guys, you won't believe this, BUT I ACTIVATE THE SEAL OF ORICHALCOS!"

I love that Atem didn't change in a moment, we get to see the process. It became clear in the previous episode. This time, when dueling Raphael, he didn't mock his opponent, but actually taught him a lesson about handling grief.

Dartz, the lamest villain in the series proper, suddenly becomes THE MOST EFFECTIVE VILLAIN EVER IN THE ABRIDGED SERIES! He's literally the only villain EVER to get past Yami's snark and make him doubt himself. All with a Cajun accent that I can barely understand. I'm in awe.
