In some countries, HIV/AIDS is the cause of more than one-quarter of deaths.
Death rates are highest across Sub-Saharan Africa. Death rates are highest for younger adults, and for children (when HIV is transmitted from a mother).

Why do the no. Of deaths start decreasing for some countries like india?

it started decreasing everywhere.Because condoms were invented.I still remember in 2003-04,govt.on TV would advertise about the use of condoms and stop using used needles.Posters everywhere.This was the only solution to protect.Same is the case with corona i think.
