I've seen this game from bo's side and at the start i thought the US was already gone fron that surprise invasion from japan. After japan was dealt with, the allies just snowballed from there thanks to golden and his need to not garrison his ports lol.

I don't think Paradox or some mod creators didn't do enough research on Hungary during this era. Horthy was NOT a fascist, he thought they were traitors to Hungary with a US ambassador in 1937 seeing Horthy beat 3 fascists outside of a theater with his cane. Hungary only aligned with Germany because at the time Horthy believed that cooperation would lead to Hungary receiving ALL lost land from ww1. Which it didnt, the Germans never gave them Slovakia and they only received northern Transylvania.
Horthy is non-aligned at the start tho
but if he allied with the axis he was a fascist.

Lol), allied himself to Nazi Germany to wage multiple wars of aggression, partially assisted in the Holocaust - but he shouldn't be called fascists in a game that only has a few major branches. What would fascist Hungary do different from your perspective?

He didn't adopted Orthodoxy and was, well, living his life like a Pole (which is understandable, because he is one). But russians revolted before he even managed to do anything and, if i remember correctly, he didn't even managed to visit the Kremlin. Vladislav was the most insignificant ruler in the times of Smuta (or Times of troubles, how you call it) just because he wasn't one... When did this game actually happen? I missed it.
Austria were favorites to win in 1938 but were removed due to anschluss. Ultimately Italy beat Hungary in the final after Austria's biggest stars refused to play for NAZI Germany (and got murdered for it afterwards).
