One of the greats.I am so greatful to be born in the early 80s.I got to witness great boxers and all around great sports in general. Its sad to see the state of sports as a whole these days.Kids are really being deprived of true heros. These days with an NBA that allows the building of super teams and the NFL that has become something I can't even stand to watch anymore.Boxing is the only sport left where men are men. They Stand alone in victory and defeat. My hats off to the men that have the courage to put it all on the line. These men were true warriors. And it's sad to say that we only have a few left out here. And there will never again be a heavyweight class as good as the 80s and early 90s.thank God for youtube..And thanks for the video
Even with the size, I believe he would dominate today. The combination of his durability, work rate, ring IQ and power would be too much for todays heavy weight division.
No doubt. His heart and toughness alone would be a nightmare for current snowflake HW division.
He wouldnt get past USADA today
@@mattydips2887 🤣
Considering he was recently knocked out by non boxer Vitor Belfort in round 1, I find that highly unlikely !
Bowe and Holyfield still going at it today in verbal bouts it's hilarious
Боу признал его лучшим боксером своей эпохи.
Holyfield‘s fights against Dokes and Qawi are some of the best ever, for him to win those as well considering how good those guys were at the time.
could have also put cooper and stewart in there too btw no words on his steroid expose scandal and his physique ?
His trilogy with Riddick Bowe is the best fighting ever.
@@theinformationbomber7102 all the boxers in the 80s and 90s had some saucey ass physiques
@@AcidAdventurer but only holyfield got exposed, caught and a piece of his ear removed for it and that's also called cheating
holyfield wouldn't even be a great boxer without all those PEDs
great fighter and a great time for boxing fans. watching this reminds me of how good the 90's were to watch boxing
One of my all time favorites, I don't see how anyone can't like him. I wish he'd had better life and finance choices, he is such a great person, I hated to see him lose it all like that.

Hope your doing better financially from your content this time around.
Did his old channel get deleted or something?

For real man! Life just wasn't the same with this dude's silky smooth voice and edits 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A great champion. Thanks for this.
Prime Holyfield would be a challenge for any heavyweight in history. Not saying he would beat them all but he would put on a great show with the likes of anyone. He had too many intangibles to go with a great work ethic. He wasn't known for tremendous power but he threw good, stiff shots in combinations and if a battle broke out he wasn't afraid to slug it out with much bigger men. A true warrior.
Thanks for making this video of Holyfield. The most recent fight of a 60 year Holyfield fighting a juiced up 40 something year old Vitor was a stain on a great legacy. Evander was one of the best boxers to ever step in the ring. Much respect to him.
Evander likely used some PEDs in his day as well. Look at the difference in his frame and bulk from when he started in cruiser. But he was definitely a beast. I like MT but Evander was far better by the time they met in the Ring.
@@originaljd6851 no. He just took conditioning to levels no one else was taking them. His physique was naturally impressive from a youngster. Dude was legit built to box.
Now that's realler than Real Deal Holyfield.
Evander was brilliant and his head butting was immaculate. Also he took some great steroids. A true legend indeed.
One of my favorite all around boxers. Skills, stamina, strategy and power
Roids. He was caught. Talented...yes. Skilled....yes. But he was one the juice and got caught.
they where all on juice bro. @@St.Maurice
and not really. as he got a negative score at the drug tests@@St.Maurice
@@lapizza7175 Holyfield trained with Lee Haney who is a professional bodybuilder, Red flag number one. A company that was distributing steroids was raided, they found a rolodex with the name “Evan Fields.” They called that number, Evander picked up, Red Flag number two. At first Evander said that it was a lie, then said the drugs were for his father. Try doing Research before you run your mouth. Please share a similar story about Tyson. You can’t, so you’ll deflect.
it's amazing Foreman is the soft-spoken, kindly man he is, after taking a beating like that
Evander is my favorite boxer… I’ve been waiting for you to do a dedicated video on him since I subbed three years ago!! Thank you very much sir.
Vitor the MMA fighter who is a better boxer is Evanders daddy.
@@-Macx vitor in mma was a bum compared to holyfield
@@stefandusan9629 Vitor the Cheator. Lmao. Never liked that guy myself.
@@stefandusan9629 Holyfield in Boxing and in MMA is a bum compared to Vitor lol
How can u compare the 2. If they fought in the primes holyfeild would eat him for breakfast in a boxing ring let's be honest. Not at 58 years old basically an old age pensioner. Nothing to be boasting about 😂.
I loved vitor but to compare them is just crazy. Can't take that fight in to account I mean he is genuinely the same age as my grandad so u would expect vitor to win as evander looked awful hitting the pads. Looked his age to be honest so wasn't a shock but what is a shock is people saying vitor is his daddy is like saying vitor just smashed my grandad 😂
Holyfield is probably my favorite boxer ever alongside George Foreman, 2 of the hardest fighting men to have ever stepped in a ring. And their resume's really show that too
Two of the best chins ever too. It's crazy that Evander said old George is the hardest he's ever been punched

George and Bowe
George foreman too old, because of age her dont have stamina and speed.if george same age holyfield.sorry mate holyfield will get knockout
@@badrulofficial that’s nit a gurantee foreman was nit as smart or fast as Holyfield even in his prime.
He is so smooth. Never saw a fighter like this. Seems slow and fast in same time.

Thats fuckin illegal !

Glass chin Holyfield
I was pissed how no one knew who Vitor Belfort was and 50 Cent bet against him!
Goddamn began watching boxing in the 2000s and didn't know evander was this beastly.
He seems relentless
If the 60's and 70's were the Golden Age of Heavyweights, the late 80's-2000 is the Silver Age of Heavyweights.
these videos are absolute gold
One of the BEST fighters of all time. He was a true warrior and he came to fight!! Big heart, solid chin, angels and combinations!!!
My god the footage always looks so good in your videos. I love it!
Holyfield is one of my all time favs. But nothing to this day will ever match the excitement of getting ready to watch Tyson fight, in his prime, before the biting.
Holyfield will always be a legend, and your a legend for making these films and paying your respects mate, you keep the legends alive.
One of the best heavyweight fighter in the late 80s and 90s
True warrior!!! At heavyweight he was almost always the smaller guy but he didn't dance.he brought the the fight to his opponent with relentless stamina & aggression.
Love you bro! The under appreciated Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield! ❤️🔥👊🏼
Another great video!! Thank you!!
Beautiful, Just Beautiful... Mr 15 Punch Combo @the End Of The 11th!! And Thanks "Mr O" Lee Haney...
The man was ALWAYS in top shape and ALWAYS gave 100%! His heart and his will to push himself through hell in that ring truly earned him both his nicknames The Real Deal and The Warrior!
Thanks for using the Tillis match. Got a quick snippet of my dad in the ring.
Really ? Woow
I am a HUGE fan Tillis' performance against Tyson. I make people watch it all the time.
My favorite heavy weight of all time even tho he wasn't the greatest or best I loved him for his humbleness and tough attitude and never die attitude much respect holyfield
Holyfield vs Foreman was such an amazing fight. I always loved Evander's style, all blood and guts. Not great for your health but it's so fun to watch.
One of my favorite fighters of all time! It’s sick to me how fast boxing fans are to discredit Holyfield, despite being maybe the greatest warrior the sport has ever seen.
Amazing video and top notch editing. Evander Holyfield is my favorite fighter and a legend. He will always be remembered for his great fights what a legend
Thanks for this amazing content
Holyfield is one of the toughest men I’ve ever seen. Riddick Bowe beat the living sh** out of him and he kept coming. In his prime Holyfield would have clowned on Vitor Belfort.
If he beat the living shit out of him, he would've won by knockout, not by decision
Holyfield would have knocked out Belfort in seconds if they were both in their prime when they fought. Holyfield was one of the toughest men alive in his generation. I think only George Foreman was tougher. Maybe.
The Belfort doesn’t count…no need to bring it up
@@anthonymack6412 Holyfield was never a knockout puncher. He would just spend 8 rounds beating Vitor until Vitor's cardio would run out just like in MMA and make the ref save him.
It's like why I'd rather fight Tyson over Holyfield. Both will knock me out, but Holyfield would leave me EXHAUSTED and knocked out.
@@danielhenderson8316 True. He wasn’t a knockout artist, but 29 out of 44 victories were by KO. I’m sure Belfort would have made it 30 had he been around when Holyfield was in his prime. On the other hand, I can’t understand why a fight like that would even be sanctioned.
Evander and Lenox are my favorite boxer from that era, and I always knew if there were a boxer that could beat Tyson it would be him. Because he is not afraid of no one he threw combos at all time. He is so humble.
Bowe would fuck Tyson up too
Excellent...!
I congratulate you for this flashback. Evander is one of the best heavyweight that this SPORT (BOXING) has ever known!
One love❤ from HAÏTI!
Best video I’ve seen in a long time thank you
Please nobody will mention THE SUPREME DURABILITY OF AN OLD GEORGE FOREMAN that dude stands everything what a beast
not the biggest heavyweight of all time but arguably the biggest heart, legend of the game
Yeah, his heart is triple the size of any normal man. Roids do that.
@@amado4249 Oh look, another salty Tyson casual.
@@fishbmw theres a reason the channels profile picture is mike tyson. If you were a woman would you rather spread your legs for holyfields seed or tysons seed. Tyson ofc. Unroided, never lift weights, pure muscle. Big strong man built like a fridge, still jacked today.

Great video! The worlds needed a reminder..
One of the best head butters of all time, but seriously he had amazing skills and an indomitable will
Her muscle shoulder like mountian hahaha
Now THIS is how I remember Holyfield and I hope others will see this and know what an amazing champion he was. He doesn't deserve to be remembered as a punching bag for a juiced up Vitor Belfort. In his prime, Holyfield could've dominated that fool with one arm behind his back. A true legend right here! The real deal.
Edit: Ah, just got to the end of the video. The fight with Vitor left a sour taste in my mouth too, man. Really glad you made this.
happened to all the legends. Ali to Holmes, Fraizer to Forman. Forman to I think Tommy Morrison. Larry Holmes to Tyson, Tyson to Lennox Lewis, Roy to Calzaghe. it just happens man, they jumped in the ring, they took their beatings and it is what it is.
Need more videos, enjoying them way too much!!! Keep up the amazing work😀😀
Excellent video with fantastic use of upscaled footage
Man, I love the humility and development Mike Tyson's character has had since his prime. It's so unexpected. That Buster Douglas KO of Evander's will live forever though.

I love that Tyson even came out later and admitted take all of the talk out of it but he was the best. I couldn't beat him
What’s this video got to do with Tyson

Thanks for the excellent content :)
The fact that George Foreman was just like "good game, man" at 6:47 is mind-blowing after seeing those hits he literally *ate*
Those punches from Holyfield would drop a lot of legendary heavyweights and probably kill an average person. Foreman even as an old, out of shape boxer was a tank. Imagine if he had stayed in boxing after his loss to young and worked on his faults. He would have been the most dominant champion ever. I am not sure Holmes would have been able to beat Foreman in the early 80s either.
