I enjoyed DC very much when I did the US in 2017.
Got into San Fran - had a blast.
Then Vegas - that was a hoot
NY - cool as.. the Met was a highlight, as was stumbling onto the filming of Catcher in the Rye (Kevin Spacey within 1m as he got on his scooter after). Seinfeld diner, The Godfather locations.
Niagara Falls base in the boat was FUN
Philadelphia - where Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed. Running up Metrop Museum steps a la Rocky...
DC - walked from Arlington to National Mall, White House, Ford Theatre where Lincoln was shot, back to Hostel.
Visited the Library of Congress (Guttenberg bible in kid skin is there), Smithsonian museums...just super.
Even chanced on the Presidential motorcade (Obama) while walking to Smithsonian American History n Culture
bussed it back to NY at the end of 4 days in DC. to spend a few days in Montreal.
Enjoyed the trip thoroughly....Jes fr Sydney Australia
