I had 2 brother and sister budgies lady Jane and charley boy and lady Jane passed away in 2020 .i was distraught and Charley boy too .so i just happen to look for something to help Charley boy with his grief. My white and light blue budgie, Potato, just passed away this morning. We're trying to keep his mate, Kiwi positive with these videos and she started chirping a little again :)

Mu little female fid wholooks just like the blue one.her name is tinkerbell.shes about 2 years old. She always Flys to me and lands on my phone of my hand and loves this video :) she even at times will hop down to my arm rest and watch with such excitement :)
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making these videos. My little budgie Pearl couldn’t live without them. About 3 years ago she lost her mate and your videos became her flock. She had her own mini iPad outside the cage on a stand and she would have the best time with your birds! The videos would literally play all day and she wouldn't have it any other way. If the videos went off she’d start screeching at me to let me know I needed to put her videos back on! lol She would either lay on her perch block and watch them or she’d be doing somersaults and jumping around her perches chirping away, it was so cute. This video was one of her favorites in the evening. The male bird must have reminded her of her mate Pepe. But, there were so many she loved that would make her go nuts with excitement. Sadly, we lost our little Pearl today. My heart is broken. These little creatures bring so much life and love into a home. Thank you for helping me make her so happy.

They are morbidly obese - I doubt they ever get to leave that tiny area 😞 Two of them (the females) have lipomas on their chests, which you can clearly see.

Are they allowed to eat or drink at any point during this long video? Sorry. It just didn’t seem like they ever had food or water. Long time to be under a bright light without either. Sorry if I'm mistaken. Just never saw them going to a place with either option.😔

Brown / no color = female

How can you tell if they were male or female budgies?
The cere. The part above their beaks. The females are brownish and the boys are blue. But sometimes it varies.

The budgie video for SOUND is fine. It is however sad that these birds are morbidly obese and at least two of them, the females, have lipomas. From the regurgitating the green male has done to impress and feed the sick blue female, several times throughout, their diet is just seed. This is like putting aviation fuel in a regular car! The cage is way too small. The blue female has a NASTY discharge coming from her nares. The olive male also has a distinct tail bob. They all have the chance at getting crop impactions and/or fungal and bacterial infections from the chewing of all those rope things that have NO business being in with parrots, or parakeets. Pet shops should be fined for conning people into buying them. They are BAD for caged birds. Don't think its true? Look up cropoliths.
They are NOT "American" or "European" - that is just not true. They are Australian budgerigars, who also happen to be parakeets, which simply means "small parrot". Their genetics are exactly the same as the native wild Australian budgie. It truly amazes me how different countries try to appropriate a breed for their own. Even the atrocious "English" budgie is not English. They are selectively bred to increase body size to satisfy some crazy notion that they are better show birds! Sadly, their little joints can't keep up with what these irresponsible breeders are creating.
PLEASE treat your birds better. They will sing more and be happier for it.

I bought two budgies.. started feeding them fruits and veggies.. but when too fast.. so have pulled back.. til the one gets better.. I agree this cage is way way to small... ended up buying a flight cage for my two.. thank for being brave enough to let this person know his birds are sick..
