Peter was around 85 here, truly amazing how youthful and strong his voice remained throughout his entire life. Only noticeable change was in his last few years of life, but his diction, and narration remained as professional as anybody in the business.
His voice, there’s no way we couldn’t have known it was him!! This is why I will ALWAYS wear a poppy! American or Canadian soldiers, that fought to defend our lands, our people, our families... will forever be recognized by Canadians by the “poppy flower”. I’m so happy, so proud to live in a country that is beautiful, because of those men and women! Thank you!
It just goes to show that just because age can slow you down, doesn't that it has to. Look how competent & lively he was at 80-90 years old. Truly a potential role model for everyone.
I just learned of his passing during season 1, episode 1 of Forensic Files II, that aired today (February 23rd). I immediately missed his voice! An enduring voice & personality that is timeless, and never forgotten...
Here’s something to consider: I just saw episodes three and four last night. Don’t we all note that sequels to a very good original never ever really hold up to the quality of the original? Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and I suppose this is a rule that might have an exception or two. I will stick with it for a while longer, and hope things get better. Let us all feel fortunate that we got to know and love a very good original version of Forensic Files!!!
This man was the nicest human being.. I had the privilege in meeting him and interacting on a regular basis and what a great person he was. So down to earth and I will never forget our small chats..
I could listen to Mr. Thomas read from a phone book! RIP to him and also WW2 Navy veteran, the late Robert Stack ... much love to their remaining families, friends, and everyone that loves Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, and the work they did before many of our parents were even conceived Much love from a 2x Afghanistan veteran from the coastal area of North Carolina
Peter is a legend. Not only as a veteran but as the voice I've loved through all the episodes of Forensic files. Hes one of the best voice overs as well as Brooks T. Moore, and Zac Fine.
He sounds exactly like he does on forensics files, I can't even watch forensics files 2 after watching him or his voice though the shows was much better.
Forensic Files will never be the same without his voice
Peter Thomas The Legend
The forensic files voice can never be stolen. Very nice guy!
Hit like, if you are watching this only because of his voice.
His voice was one of a kind. You are missed. Rest In Peace.
Iconic voice. Very underrated use of his amazing voice.
One of the best narrator voices of all time!

I love this man's voice. I found this video because I was searching for a video that showed him talk💕🇺🇸🌹💞💝
So did I. Did you know Paul Hardcastle like his voice so much that he made a song called 19. Featuring PT voice.
He also gives the instructions on the AED units used in CPR!
Me too
His voice was no other, a great soldier, a great story teller. 😢😢we missed u.
The best voice in the world. Rest In Peace Peter. Thank you for your service. And thank you for being the voice of my favorite tv show.
My lifetime inspiration. Became a voice over, because of this hero. Rest In Peace, Peter Thomas. I still watch forensic files, sacredly 🕯🕊🎩🙏🏽🌹❤️
I miss hearing his voice on forensic files 💙
A golden voice can make a difference! Slaute to the great man .

He has a young voice tho

I wish they had used his son since he also does voice over work. I wasn't impressed with Bill Camp on FF II at all. Boring!
@quflos I tried watching again and I just couldn't do it.
I have to agree. FF2 just isn’t the same without his narration.
Here’s something to consider: I just saw episodes three and four last night.

Peter Thomas, Leonard Nimoy, Jack Palance Robert Stack and Rod Serling were the ultimate narrators of documentaries and such, May all of them RIP
I've watched so much forensic files lately that this dudes voice is narrorating my life
Amazing.
I could listen to Mr. Thomas read from a phone book! RIP to him and also WW2 Navy veteran, the late Robert Stack ... much love to their remaining families, friends, and everyone that loves Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, and the work they did before many of our parents were even conceived

My only wish was that peter thomas would narrate my murder
LMAO 🤣🤣😆😆
Love his voice, it is so elegant and eloquent. I guess I am gonna go ahead and binge watch forensic files 🙈🙉
I love how the german version o forensic files (medical detectives) also had a voice very similar to his making it the same quality.
He just made D DAY sound terrifying
his voice scared me on forensic files
This man had the voice of a god.
