ok in all honesty it comes down to timing. whoever can click first has the immediate advantage. you can w-tap and charge at them, but that increases your chances of hitting them only twice and walking behind them forcing you to turn around and that'll mess up your timing. instead, use a projectile, like a bow, snowball or in most cases a fishing rod (which will pull them instead of pushing). while they're in the air w-tap and keep your cross-hair on their hitbox. try not to go under them cuz you can easily miss and mess up your combo.
on the more technical side, get a wifi router or ethernet cable. you need a strong wifi connection so that the game/server can register your hit in time. if you dont have a router or ethernet cable get closer to the actual "box" or the modem.
if you play bedrock edition, the same rules apply if you play windows 10 edition. if you play console or mobile i dont know what to tell you bud.

For 100k could you do a VERY advanced pvp tutorial. An idea I had was to take one if your nutty combos and commentate the exact things your doing in the clip. Love you content!
a more effective way would be to analyse bad gameplay and point out the mistakes and improvements that can be made like what stimpy did
what he does in his combos is exactly what he explained in this video. you just can’t seem to learn the basics bud. this tutorial is all you need to be good at pvp

@@zachyi2434 What I meant by that was something more advanced than that. There's a big difference from wtapping and strafing to the infinite combos you see in clip compilations. I can do all of the things in the video I'm just talking about something more advanced to get to the next level. If you have any tips I'm open to all suggestions!

This is one of the best if not the best pvp guide ever, I tried this and I improved a lot by 100%! This was so helpful, when I watched this video I knew how many mistakes I was making before this guide.

@@merlinkale6346 smite instead of sharpness lowers your damage by a lot, knockback makes it impossible to combo, we could debate this for long but just get neither for a pvp sword
cps dosent matter like when i 10cps vs 6cps i dont feel difference

@@i_likemen5614 if you have good sensitivity, decent frames, a decent mouse, and you know how to w tap and block hit, it’s just practice. im still really bad but i win a lot in unranked, i’ve fought high elo players and I can tell I just need to practice. if you have a good mouse you should jitter, it doesn’t take too long to learn and it’s pretty easy to aim with. jitter clicking is required for pot pvp but you can get away with 6 CPS block hitting in uhc duels.

Man I remember searching about pvp tips and tricks when I used to play Minecraft in 2014. I just recently quitted minecraft last year but it's cool seeing a minecraft video once in a while!
Also mastering the usage of hotkey early can help you a lot in gamemodes like HCF , Skywars, Gapple and etc. Hope y'all have fun in practicing pvp!

Hey a few things: Firstly aim training will help, the part of tracking still applies and the basics aren't that different. The clicking is only one part of it and not the whole clicking.
Secondly, using only your arm is also false and has not been proven. The best way is always a combination of both wrist and arm aiming, for bigger swings use arm aiming and for micro adjustments you wrist.

no shit you have to use your wrist for micro adjustments, but while jittering if you use your wrist its going to lead to wrist damage
As a jitter clicker, using your wrist to aim is probably the stupidest thing to do. You will develop carpel tunnel jittering/ aiming with your wrist. And its way better to aim with your arm and not your wrist. Your so wrong on that one. And aim trainers won’t help you because your not clicking your just moving your arm. And when you go to click, your aim will be so much more different.

Hotkey tip: Use q for a slot, I see so many pvpers aciadently throw their sword mid combat so change the throw key to something that you can reach but isn't too far away like the b key, I use b for throw.
I have q and e replacing my 1 and 2 hotkeys just for that.
I use Tilda to open my inventory, but nothing set to throw yet tho.
My throw key is C for that exact reason. Q is my 9th slot

Honestly it's kind of a shame that this video does not get the millions of views that those clickbait "I mastered pvp" videos get. As a old mc pvp sweat, I'm happy seeing mc get popular again but a lot of people just make videos for the sake of views and not because their love for the game. Thanks for this video, I hope more people see it and hope lots of new player come to enjoy Minecraft pvp (1.7/1.8), and actually get good at the game rather than follow popular players who are not very good or well informed.

I share your experience as a somewhat involved mc parkour player and every time i see someone being praised for being able to do a single neo or being called insane for doing 4 block jumps consistently it feels weird
I've left MC and gaming now for a long time, YT'ers shilling for the algorithm with 0 knowledge about the game and clueless viewers who think everything they say is gospel has overshadowed any talented players who have worthwhile information to share. Pro tip for hot keying if you want you can make your mouse buttons 8 and 9. I have my sward in 9 and fishing rod/snowballs I 8 and I can switch so fast the opponents can't understand how I hit them twice so fast

It's not high ping that holds you back, it's unstable ping. If you have low ping and the ping is unstable, you can't do shit, but low ping tends to be more stable than high ping. High ping is more subject to more interference and such. I've seen so many people with high ping that are SO godly, I can't touch them
