I love watching this older footage of an old aircraft.
At 1:23 you hear that "Critter 160" is cleared for take off. This is a ValuJet flight. Flight 592 crashed on May 11, 1996. Subsequently the airline permanently ended operations shortly thereafter.
Where is the takeoff video of this flight? It used to be on here. I can't find it!
@Md80123 the VSI has literally about a 10 second delay. He was probably at -50 when he landed. Cheers
Isn't that a hard landing because the vs area says -500 fpm when you hit the ground and isn't that considered hard
Any chance you know Ken Phelps? a Delta pilot who retired in 2006.
I mean the veritical speed dial by the captains yoke
2 things why did the ALT hold say 10K and how did you jump seat are you a real pilot and very very nice vid.
why arent there any callouts???
