    Great job. I really enjoyed the video. A little tip for your viewers, make sure you use high-grade rubber replacement hose lines, as well as high-grade metal, braided, AN fittings, etc Do not reuse old vacuum, fuel, coolant, brake, oil lines,etc.lines unless they are as new condition, it's just not worth the risk.
    High-grade fuel injection hose and fuel injection clamps work really well for all the rubber hoses that need to be replaced. The fuel injection clamps have a smooth band that doesn't cut into the hose like the common screw clamps. You can also purchase similar type smooth band hose clamps for coolant hoses,.They look good and last forever.
    Just make sure the hose is rated for the fuel pressure and or vacuum source your replacing, as some of the rubber hose sold aren't rated for high pressure and or oil contaminants, coolant, fuel vapors. They will fail, usually when you're going to your best friend's wedding or while you're trapping 145 mph at the drag strip "on fire with no brakes".
    Check the hoses rating, application if it is going to be used for critical vehicle control, like a vacuum booster for your brakes. If it collapses or breaks down from fuel, oil vapors, coolant, you lose your brake assist or ?.
    Also, you plan to run E85 or other fuels, make sure the lines, pumps, pickups, fuel tanks are rated for the fuel you intend to use. And use high flow, high filtration filters, that you can clean. Place them before and after the pumps when you can. You save the pumps, regulators, and injectors from ingesting dirt, metal, plastic.
    I recommend not using Chinese AN fittings, fuel cells pumps unless they have a very high rating and backing from an American supplier. Buyer beware, use at your own risk. The fuel cells can crack as most, not all Asian, etc import manufactures use a low-grade aluminum, cheap aluminum wire.,fittings, etc Buy American, Japanese, European or ? when you can. A leaking AN fitting, fuel line, fuel cell, brake line, etc can cost you or life and your car. That's my 2 cents, hope it helps.

    Proper clutch setup for reusing the S54 would be to order a hybrid kit from South Bend Clutch. It uses a E153 disk, so that you maximize the surface area (S54 disk is smaller in diameter than the E153), but it the uses the S54 center, so the splines are correct.

      ACT makes one as well. I’ve had the same hybrid stage 2 setup in my swapped ‘94 Celica for twelve years. Still hooks right up.

    I've been thinking of doing a JDM engine swap for my 93 N/A, I got a 91 turbo parts car but I wanted something with more power stock so was thinking about the gen 4 because of COP and it doesn't leak as bad. My question is this, what computer do you use on it? The one that came with the engine from the SUV in Japan or a different one? If I can remember rightly, one of the big power killers for the 2nd gen 3sgte in the US cars was the programming on the computer right?

    Awesome man! Could this engine work in a MK1 n/a MR2 with its auto transmission? See, I'm an older guy that been thru bunch of back surgeries(bad ones). And due to messed-up nerves,don't have enough use of my clutch leg. Or, would I be better off just doing a junkyard DIY turbo kit for it? Never been around turbochargers, but, back in the 80's and 90's I used DumpLoads of nitrous in my 69 Chevelle.

    • @morgandillon4019
      @morgandillon4019 Před 6 lety

      Im fairly confident people have done this swap in an mk1, it isn't nearly as straight forward and you would certainly need at least an s54 although I would recommend an e153. Diy turbo kit on an AW11 would likely cost more than the engine swap itself.

      one more question... how is the stock CT15 for mostly freeway driving? do you prefer upgraded CT26/27 or upgraded ct15 by campos or Prime?

      Denni Supra stock ct15 will do 299 whp with 30% e85. Go see my latest dyno video. If u want to go billet get campos. I run campos bullet Ct wheels. It's legit. Just say bobmr2 refer u. He hook u up.
