Buddhism is the only Dhamma we can believe, it is a practical religion, we can experience in this life not after death. We need peace happiness while we are living not after death. The Buddha showed the way how to live happily , peacefully wuthout fear. He teached people to live with backbone without depending any God. This is the beauty of Buddhism.

We can experience in this life not after death.... Just wanted to know how the act of Hitler, who killed millions of people , will be justified in this world. i have seen women who have killed their daughter in law and they are leaving their life peacefully. How will it be justified in this world.

When Bhante was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he laughed much to the surprise of the doctor. Such was a well practiced monk.
I have the good fortune of listening to his talk in 2001 when I was in Pre-U. Time flies indeed. The whole audience was roaring with laughter at his humour as he shared his great wisdom.

I am really proud of my self cause before I listen to this video I've realized the every single thing that monk said in this video by questioning myself. sometimes I question my self regarding those like, where is Buddha and who is the God, now I can confirm my conclusion with this video. And there are few things left with no answers. But I will find them the answers by myself too soon. still I have doubts with some streams of Buddhism. I hope I will be able to catch them up too soon before I die. Cause I have no clue what will happen after death. Don't know whether I will be able to keep things in my mind after I die.

Yes, Gouthama borrowed "anatta" or "no self" from thantric philosophy which is Hinduism. Anatta philosophy or belief if you want to call it was with Hindus or Brahmanists at least 500 years before Gouthama was born. So its not a property of Gouthama but an adopted or borrowed one or he learned it from his masters after leaving his wife and children.

Lord Buddha never learns anything from this world he has only good deeds to achieve the things in his life, because, he is only so called god on this earth, and lord Gautam Buddha never said the teachings which he has been trying to pass it on to everyone to learn the dhamma to attain the life without sufferings and peaceful, which has been taught by during the previous existence of Buddha, which is millions of years before, and such philosophy can be raised only by the Buddha's and none other !

Man created god is a very old concept, now even these scientist say that there is god and as you said there is some person who is maintaining this energy etc is still there and it will be always there. Man can not understand everything like why man dies is a Mystery and it will always be there. Only thing what man can find out is that there is some energy which leaves this body and man becomes powerless. So saying that man made god is not true. Have u ever thought that the sound that come when u talk with the different movement or position of your tong, throat is how. Why it has to take that position. I think budhist still needs lot of things to learn. Budhist concept is incomplete about God.

+Anushka Premarathne Simple, he gave us a limited span of time to choose if we follow him or not, all suffering will be compensated to the people that follows him of pure heart after death, bad people that turn their backs at God will pay the consequences for their sins. And that perfect world you're talking about where no one dies and no one suffers comes after death, after this imperfect world finally ends.

Siddhartha Gouthama was a devoted Hindu Prince until the age of 29, He is born, taught, married, have children, died and cremated according to the Hindu tradition surrounded by royals of Shakyas (King Suddhona's Tribe) and Koliyans (his wife Yasodara's Tribe). There was no Buddhism until around after 100 yeas after his death. Though he left the palace at the age of 29 to become a Sramana Monk, He was always being an spiritual Hindu. He never brought an new religion to this world but reiterated the same Hindu concepts which was already existed even before he was born.

      2) Anyone can enter Nirvana, no matter how lowly, whereas in Hinduism only the brahmins could achieve moksha.
      3) In Theravada Buddhism, there are no gods. The Buddha is not a god.
      4) Karma is not earned by following the dharma of your caste. Instead you can move toward entry into Nirvana by following the eightfold path.

There's a lot more evidence than just the Bible. There were three different groups in the 1st century that bear witness to the existence of Jesus. None of them had the Bible but all claimed to be the true followers of Jesus. They were the Gnostics, the Katholikoi (ancestors of the Catholics, Protestants and Eastern Orthodox) and the Judaizers (or ebionites). All believed in the existence of Jesus. All believed conflicting things about him but all bear witness to his physical existence. There's more evidence for the existence of Jesus than there is for Alexander the Great. None of these groups had the Bible bc it wasn't compiled until the Councils of Hippo and Carthage. Their Faith wasn't rooted in the Bible as it didn't exist then. Their Faith was rooted in the teachings of his disciples who spread the word organically by word of mouth.
