Planning to get mine in about a month. Own several Tissots, seikos and citizens.
Always saw Tag the brand to have growing up. I now know there are “better” brands.
However, like so many, this will be my first watch in the higher end luxury brands.
Can’t wait.
I love tag Heuer watches. Honestly they might be my favorite brand .
I have the same one, but the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation "Cayman Edition". I love it. It is/was my gateway watch and is now destined to be passed down to my boy as he gets closer to 16 yrs old.
Thanks for being the only CZcams video I’ve seen to tell is straight up - the watch snobs won’t like it but if you’re a normal guy who needs one good watch, you’ll love it.

I have nowhere near enough money to buy a properly luxury watch, £1000 was my max and this watch seemed like the best option to go for. Trashing on it is like trashing on someone for buying a Golf instead of a Bugatti.

I put off buying myself a tudor to buy my step dad this watch i hope he likes it.
I now have about 20 Tag heuers on my collection and I don’t see anything wrong with them love them ❤❤

I just picked up the F1 chronograph with the stainless steel bezel the other day, and totally love this watch. My dad gave me his old Tag Heuer Professional 1000 years ago and have been a fan of Tag's ever since. This was my first Tag that I purchased and looking to purchase a Carrera next.

I have a formula 1 picked it up for 600. I love the reliability of a quartz, sure automatic is great but at the end of the day it looks fantastic and keeps great time and I don't have to worry about service.
I have the gold blue Formula 1 and the Aquaracer GMT Pepsi and I love them both
Don't buy from Amazon unless you want a fake. Second result on Amazon has comments saying they were supplied a fake watch.

Just bought this watch 8/20/2022 and it now comes with a milled clasp and a drivers extension to wear over race suit
I just bought the black version a couple weeks ago and I love it. I bought it as a "beater" as well. I normally wear an automatic Omega Seamaster but wanted something that I could wear day to day and knock around a bit without having to worry as much about scratches and dings. This definitely is a great high quality beater!
Does it have anti reflective coating on the glass?
Prople have real head problems when they refer to a thousand $ watch as a beater. Pretty stupid mentality

I never thought I would own a Formula 1 piece but, here I am. It's an incredible watch. That said, I do wish they would add a quick adjustment to the bracelet, which would help the value proposition. I also wish they would offer more automatic movements to the Formula 1 series.
I think they don't because the people who would wear a formula 1 don't want an automatic watch that could easily be damaged.
That would defeat the point, no automatic is accurate enough to carry the “Formula 1” moniker.
Not a watch connoisseur, maybe one day, but I'm a big auto racing fan, specifically Porsche and BMW, and also always love Steve McQueen. Coming from a Tissot PRC 200, I just bought the Tag Formula 1 Gulf Edition with Blue Leather Strap version which commemorates the Porsche Gulf livery in the LeMans movie with Steve McQueen. I bought it as a birthday gift to myself, which happens to coincide with a new job for which I used part of the signing bonus. I love the auto look. It's not the Monaco, but for now it's a start.

I think the same. Tag Heuer is the better sport brand and classic in watches. I love you Tag Heuer, especially F1

Hola de todos ! I have this model qurtz f1 from 4 years. Very good and reliable watch. Very acurate and im not changed original battery yet. I have and calibre 5 f1 from 2020 year model. My first f1 quartz i have from 2012 and it still works.
Tag Heuer quartz are great great watches. They too are heirlooms

I've had a couple Tag F1's since I first really got into watches about 8 years ago. I look at Tag Heuer in the same way I do Panerai; both brands make some cool pieces and as long as I can get them for a low enough price on the used market I'll wear and enjoy the hell out of them. Not exactly grails or keep forever pieces but nice nonetheless.

Are these accurate quartz will it be accurate after 7 years ? And same question for the aqua racers which the price point is about 3,500$ or more are the movements accurate after this time period??

From where??? In Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, Christian Bale, who played Bruce Wayne, wore a very different brand of watch. In Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne wore a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grand Taille and in The Dark Knight, Bruce wore a JLC Reverso Grand Date.
A quartz watch at that price point is not my taste. Quartz is highly accurate but simplistic. As a collector I want more for my dollar.

Why the hell can't tag put in a metal movemnt spacer?? It would cost them so little. It looks incredibly cheap as it is.

Wife got me this watch and I had to return it the same day… the quality is really underwhelming. If this watch was 40mm, better clasp and $500 new, I still wouldnt get it but it might work for some people. For $1000 there are so many better watches, Oris, Hamilton, Muhle, junghans etc. Most microbrands I handled in 300-500 range put this watch to shame with automatic movements and much better built. If you want to pay $1000 for a $250 dollar watch Quatz Tag is the way to go.
