I couldn’t be more hyped up for this video!
No pressure! 🤣
Ditto.
Anyone have the 4th part link? I really want to see it!
@@owendinostudios1200 coming soon
@@NewJunction nice! Can’t wait!
Tequila stole the show. That look she gave you was a “chase pigeons?, yeah I can’t be bothered fella, you do it”. Looking forward to the next one already. Keep up the good work
Haha glad you enjoyed it
That first 15 seconds with Tim is hilarious 😂. Brilliant video as ever richard, really enjoy watching your progress on the garden railway. In terms of a diesel for your layout, a sentinel, class 45, class 52 or class 20 would be nice to see. Keep up the good work and stay safe as always
James
Glad you enjoyed it! a class 45 now we're talking, a real loco haha
Colonel Failure! THE MISTER FAILURE HIMSELF? I think he is hilarious mate, love his channel.
BR Blue 37 would look stunning here.
One of my favourite diesels is the Class 25, a useful starter, general purpose unit for now and the future.
Epic effort! Really impressed by your dedication and perseverance too!
It’s coming along quite nicely.
This is the kind of quiet hobby channel that I'm grateful for in 2020. I'm not even particularly interested in model trains, I'm just comforted that things like this exist
Glad it's of some enjoyment 👍🏻
Really enjoying watching your progress, very impressive. Looking forward to the next update.
Thanks Keith!
Lighthearted, useful and informative. Thank you.
Your welcome Tom!
Found this by chance, love seeing people who are so into their hobbies
And I'll be sticking about for some more Lulu!
Thanks Chris, Glad you popped by!
Looking awesome! Keep up the hard work. Thanks for sharing. Ken
Thanks Ken!
LOVE your videos!!! Really helps to inspire others also. I'm 65+ and a few years ago I pulled mine up from the weeds after 22 years and elevated it and went battery power. That was the best two things I ever did in this hobby! I use it so much more and it easy as I'm not crawling around in the dirt fighting weeds. Like you said, waist high is perfect!! Many thanks!!
Thanks Duke, sounds like a good idea to me!
Love your whimsical approach. Really a joy to watch. Even the montages haha
What a great video. Awesome progress and it has really given me the bug to put one in my garden. Very exciting stuff to watch and I loved every minute of it. All the best, Clint
Love seeing the progress! Cheers from Pennsylvania, US.🍻
Thanks for the comment Zach, all the best, Richard
Great work. It's coming together nicely
Thanks Gary!
Coming on really well it's good to see how it is done looking forward to the next one 🚃🚄👍
Thanks Ian!
I’m verify frustrated that I can only give one “like”. Well done, very inspiring
Great looking garden and then you improve it with a garden railway brilliant
Trial and error is always a good thing, and you’ll get there in the end. The fact that you’ve actually got on and done it is the best thing. Looking forward to see the first train running round because I know just how good that feels 👍
Can't wait to get trains running properly, thanks for the comment pal!
Excellent progress.
Thanks!
Great stuff 😆 loved it
Brilliant and extremely amusing!
Thanks Graham
I really love the garden railway I get to see your cute pets the the amazing railway keep the good work it looks amazing 👍
Thanks
Great progress
Thanks Nick!
Amazing work can’t wait for the finished result
Thanks!
No worry’s
"work smart, nod hard" - magnificent :)))
Ha
Where it all went wrong!, not really, timber works under tension and compression, The outer is correct for the inner the relief cuts should have been on the outside forcing them together, also try soaking the timber overnight it's more flexible wet than dry and will form easier and dry to the shape.
The more I watch this the more I want to get involved with O gauge, Just really don't have time.
Cheers Craig!
That intro tickled me 😂, great video.
Looks fabulous Richard.
Thanks Philip!
Great video Richard it is looking great
Thanks David!
Outstanding stuff Richard.
Thanks as always Charlie!
Fantastic video Richard! Can’t wait to see the trains running!
Thanks Michelle! Hope you're both doing well and first choice is doing grand! 😁
Yay! More New junction videos!!
No the frame work is getting done it shouldn't be so long between videos
Ok that’s good, hopefully the weather remains sunny!
great layout looking good.
Thanks Don
Well done on your garden layout so far
Thanks Tim!
Looking great and I just recently moved into a house with a backyard, hoping to start an outdoor layout too. Thanks for the inspiration!
You're very welcome!
Can not believe how high up the loop is. Another fantastic video. Look forward to watching your progress.
Thanks Groot!
The garden railway is coming along nicely, it looks absolutely amazing mate, no harm in asking for some help, cant wait for the next update video, keep up the amazing work mate
Thanks pal
Thanks for the laughs and another great video :)
Thanks Sam, hope you enjoyed it and your mention 😉
Love your videos man! I like the music from Top Ground Gear Force! Lol.
haha thanks!
Great video Richard keep them coming 👍👍👍
Thanks Dave, hope you're keeping well!
@@NewJunction yes I am Richard thanks 👍
It's looking good
Thanks!
Great video, your channel got me back into model railways again, after a 10 year hiatus. For a diesel surely it has to be a tractor thrashing round the garden. Keep the videos coming 👍👍
That's great to hear, happy modelling!
looking good
Thanks!
great to see you back great progress and looking good tets hope the birdes are not too quick for you lovely cat bless her looking forward to the future progress cheers, for now, all the best al
🙋♂️😁👍👍👍👍
Thanks Al! 👍🏻
The higher track leaves plenty of opportunity for adding hills, mountains and bridges. This is so much fun to watch the progress...well done...and thank you for sharing.
A viaduct would be absolutely brilliant
Thanks, lots of potential
@@NewJunction Maybe an Ewok Village in the shrubs ;-)
Looks good
Thanks
Cool video 👍👍🙋🏻♂️
Thanks
Yet an other fun filled video. Great progress being mad looking forward to the next instalment. class 37 / 47 would be nice to see. stay safe.
Thanks!
Great stuff again Richard! Loved the shots where Lulu kept trying to tempt you with the orangey-red ball 😂 Tequila is a lovely old girl too🐈 I agree about waist height: my old garden railway was, as is now the layout I just built to run around our patio which packs away into the shed, which I finally got running last week! 🍻
Really can’t wait for the next instalment 😎 Good luck mate 🍀
Thanks Tim
Exciting!!
Hopefully!
New Junction sure is! I cant wait!
nice start
Thanks
Hi Richard
Great video very entertaining 🤣🤣
Showed me how to construct my outdoor part for my oo layout
Keep up the great work .
😄😄
Haha great stuff
Love the humor in your videos. I think a Heljan class 60 would be a good idea!
Oooo nice one Caz!
😂 loved Tims cameo. Looking good mate 👌🏼
Haha your turn next?
Just noticed, you only have 26.4k COME ON LETS GET U TO 1 MILLION THIS IS A GREAT CHANNLE
Enjoying the build Richard..it`s starting to come together now.We understand the plan now as you can see it in the flesh....well.. what else can i say apart from it`s very big..it`s going to take a lot of filling up with track and locs..
so what ever happens just have fun doing it..................Allan
Thanks Allan, definitely enjoying myself!
Yep! Tequila steals the show . . . !!!! Even more than the impressive carpentry skills! Really looking forward to seeing how you deal with track laying and electrics. Very fond of Class 37 Diesels with Freight Transport Association logo - just a suggestion. Many thanks for sharing yet again. Stay safe.
'Who cares about that, throw the ball!' -Lulu
Fantastic video I enjoyed watching I like your cat very much definitely a good idea having a station cat
Who's bigger than the station building 🤭
I recently started an o gauge model railway in June. I started of with a hall steam engine I got by my nearest shop that sells it I also got the 12 yards of track set and I am currently working on extending it. It really is a hard job!
But fun in a painful kind of way haha
Great video as always, great four legged and fluffy anti pigeon device. Where you're getting a lot of plant growth over the track would adding a small tunnel help and the foliage could grow over the top.
Yes I'll have to do something
Woohoo, new Junction is back again with another garden railway video. The bug has definitely bit!
Starting to get real now hehe
New Junction Hehe lol
Nice progress, I hope that timber stands the test of time.
As for a diesel, well the Heljan 37's look nice but personally, I'd like to see an 08 shunting some wagons around.
Cheers
Looking great richard. Cant wait to see the next installment. Alot of requests for 37/40s but I would go for something different along the lines of a 31! 🚂
The new ones look good
Well done! Definitely good advice to build a garden railway waist high. Easier to keep clean and work on or run trains. As you get older your back and joints will thank you!
You're not wrong
Looks great id love to see a class 50 haul the first desiel service
Brilliant video as always and even the Mrs enjoyed it and laughed a couple of times. I think a class 33 diesel would be nice.
I was thinking class 33 too
Great suggestion, my regards to Mrs DCB_Trains 👍🏻
Enjoyed that, thanks. Really nice of your older brother to come and help too. :D Lulu clearly has a thing for Cuprinol. As well as a diesel, I think you need a radio-controlled live steam to push the hedge-trimming, vacuuming and tracking cleaning trains around.
The bubble of support
Another fantastic video Richard, I'd say it has to be a class 37 !!
Excellent work. Eagerly anticipating the next video as it may spur me on to actually make progress outside tack on planks on bricks in my garden. Re first diesel, I'd suggest Dapol's 66 in Evening Star guise....should be out by the time you're done
Great job, and shout out from Fort Wayne, IN. USA. Thank for sharing part 3. Would be neat to see an American locomotive for your diesel- like a GE or an EMD (GP or SD).
Great progress so far. Around the station area, will more track be built past the edge of the porch. Could add more for a longer trip for trains to travel around the yard.
Yes eventually, need a few more paydays first lol
Great progress. Glad to see it’s coming along well. Maybe a class 37 would look good on the garden Railway although they are very expensive so maybe something like a class 20 or class 25 would be better
really enjoying this series! i'd love to see a class50 on there! if they make one in that scale lol
Their tempting me lol
your going to have some fun cutting back all the hedge work every week !!! Its bad enough in my loft with my N gauge layout !!
I admit I have help in the garden
Can't wait
Woop!
Hi
I think either a dmu or a class 52 western. I’m so envious of your large garden but really enjoy your videos you are an inspiration to us in all.
Oooo there is a new Heljan DMU on route
I think I would love to see a hunslet austerity J94 pull the first steam service. Great video by the way
Do they do one in O?
I think so. I don't have o gauge trains. Why don't you search it, GOOGLE is the answer to everything these days!!
This was very entertaining indeed, some great funny parts in the video, the waist high part was hilariously funny... serious note about the first Diesel service, I would say a HST but don't think they're out yet so going have to go with a Class 37.
HST is on route from KMS in Scotland, glad you enjoyed it!
Lulu is lovely. Funniest on the timelapse where she is repositioning the ball. That dog thinks the world of you! I am 'voting' for the Class 37, with a nuclear flask in tow. Normally they double up the locos but I think that the nuclear flask gives you good reason to have a short train and not have to shell out for a rake of wagons! Maybe the nuclear flask could contain goodies for Lulu, to be dispensed en-route. Get her trained to retrieve a train delivered ball.
That sounds good however shes crazy if you take her toys haha
I'm amazed how high the track will be at the back of your garden. It didn't look like much of a drop looking at the garden.
It does look great, looking forward to seeing how your wirer the track and seeing the first loop running train. I did wonder why your are not using radio control equipment to drive the trains.
I would love to see a class 33 with the mark 1 intercity coaches. I have always like the class 33, I have just bought my first in OO gauge.
Thanks again for a great video.
Oh man the Groundforce nostalgia I felt 😂
Hits the heart strings ❤
I'm a big fan of the class 37, so that's my vote!
Nice! A popular choice
"Aerial bombardment from the birds"... Love it lmao 😂
Yay Richard!!
Woop!
It's hard being a model railway civil engineer! You are making great progress. Class 40 for me! Regards Stephen.
Thanks Stephen!
Yea boiiiiii!!!! Another great video Richard, keep it up. With all the constuction work you've put in surely an a class 37 in Engineers Dutch livery should take the first lap to clear up the nails etc.
Sounds good that Ryan!
@@NewJunction ^^ so thats legally binding then? 😆
The Ground Force music is back! YES!
Made it haha
this is one of your best videos I must say because you can really se you enjoyed making it :) btw id love se a class 66 as the first diesel loco on the layout
Oooo Dapol's new release
Great work Tim. lol Yeah, you got the garden railway taking shape now, I like the higher part, although maybe not entirely practical as you say, but it will make for amazing running shots. Any Bo-Bo diesel would look great, look forward to next update. Your dog is now an important part in these updates too. :) All the best.
Thanks for the comment!
The garden railway is coming on really well. I suggest getting a dapol class 08 for your first diesel service.
Boom thanks
nice video guys
Thanks!
Your welcome
Your first diesel locomotive should be a class 37 or 31 love the work you did cant wait to get them engines rolling 😊👍🚂
Cheers Ieuan
A popular choice
Your dog is soooo cute
Looking really nice, and i agree if you have a mate who knows timber or woodworking sometimes its better to ask an expert than struggle with a build. I suggest a Class 37 in Dutch Engineers livery.... with grampus wagons....
Nice choice!
Great progress made and the return loop will give you some great action shots Richard. As for which diesel, would have to be one of my 2 favourites.......... Class 55 Deltic or a class 40 👍
Oooo nice choices!
