Dave, u spotlighting these pizza places is a huge act of kindness. Their business literally depends on your review. You hold the pizza places only in it for the money accountable with a bad score but for a solid pizza with a great backstory, you give a review and score that embodied the bigger picture 👍

Word of mouth marketing is huge and it’s a way the most random things go viral because it’s shared not just w reviews but through text calls in chat apps etc that’s not reflective of a super long CZcams vid that most people don’t got time for 👍
They are the most popular pizza place in a college town and has been since I went in the early 2000s, so the review won't change much

My parents opened a cafe/bar just around the corner from their Albany location for a few years and I practically lived on their pizza. I’d walk there with my sister and saw/interacted with the owner almost every time I went there and he is the most genuinely passionate and wholesome guy you’ll ever meet. It was awesome to see him launch the frozen pizzas around Covid time and see him success. Long live Paesans!!!

@@MS-in3hs I'm thinking one of those hand held battery powered fans sold on Amazon. Dave's suffered enough over the years, maybe Spyder could wave it over the steamy hot slice for 30 seconds. Through the magic of editing they could eliminate those awkward moments, make these reviews less hazardous. 1st and 2nd degree burns are not to be ignored. They're serious cancer risks.

If you're ever in Albany again check out Mechanicville House Of Pizza. Curious what you think. Blink and you'll miss it. I'm over near Schenectady but used to work in M'Ville and it was such a nice convenience. Very balanced, flavorful. Kind elderly couple that always have smiles on their faces.
That place is good. Eaten there before. Go Dave.
I LOVE Paesans. Im Italian from NYC. Ive tried them all and Paesans I can eat every day. The ingredients are top drawer. Cooked perfectly, never once a bad crust, not one speck of black oven residue EVER. These folks have it down and deserve every ounce of success they acheive. Great for you!! Me too, Im not starving anymore! Btw Dave i love your reviews!!

From Albany area can confirm that it is in fact football pizza area. You can get some great football pizza and mozz sticks with raspberry sauce and you’re gonna have a good Sunday.

Tried the plain frozen Paesan's pizza via Goldbelly. Dave gave the frozen pizza a 7.1 during "lockdown", and I agree - The best football 🏈 pizza 🍕 that doesn't taste like it's frozen pizza. I gave it a 7.6 on One Bite app.
