Love this !!! I'll be making these today!! I might add orange zest to the cranberry oatmeal and a pinch of cinnamon!!!❤ I just made scones and clotted cream, and I have cranberries left over!!!❤
Orange zest sounds delis! I tried lemon zest and it was a hit , you can add anything in this recipe. Happy baking!😀
Wow i am totally impressed, i am not a chocolate fan ,the oatmeal & cranberry was a great idea. Thanks so much ❤

Glad it was helpful! Thank you!
Thanks!
Awesome 🤩 do you know how long can I store it in freezer?
From 9 to 12 months
You can freeze them until hell stops freezing over.
I heard late grandmother did this but I wanted to watch a video to see approx how thick to cut etc
Ooo thnko thnko super
Very nice video!! Thank you. 😀
Can you also freeze shortbread cookie dough?
Yes you can freeze them beautifully. Just tighly wrap the log in a plastic wrap then into a freezer bag. Freeze up to 3 months :). Let it thaw in the refrigerator for an hour or two before slicing. Thank you for watching, much appreciated :)
@@oniemix3946 Thanks!! ❤❤
I wish cookie dough would flatten after being frozen instead of turning out like puffy pucks when cooked. They never seem to look like they did before freezing or even refrigerating for that matter. I still haven't figured out the solution. Any suggestions would help.
You need to let it sit outside so it isn’t very cold. The colder the cookie the less it spreads.
Can I use the same recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies ..and macadamia nut ones
Yes, you can use the same recipe 😀
@@oniemix3946 thank you..have a blessed night
Is it safe to let raw cookie dough with egg in it sit out for half an hour?
Yes, because it's frozen, so the temperature of the dough is still quite low. Over the course of half an hour, it will begin to thaw to get closer to room temperature. Of course, if you're from somewhere that's very hot, it will probably thaw faster and you'll be able to use it up faster, too. So no harm done. Half an hour isn't that long. Just enough for the dough to thaw enough to cut. Just don't let it sit out unused for hours, and you'll be fine.
@@sabihasayeed1670 Thank you.
does it need to be frozen before baking ?
You don't have to but if you like fresh cookies when you want to, then freeze half and bake later, on the other hand, you can bake all then freeze some of the cookies for later or what I do is, freeze for an hour, cut bake and thats it :)
Can i frozen it even tho there’s an egg???
Yes you can even with egg on the dough. Thanks for watching :)
Missing temperature and minutes in oven, how much oatmeal and cranberries? 🤔
Thank you for visiting my channel :). In this video, I added half cup each oatmeal and cranberry, you can add a litttle bit more or less, it's all up to you. I baked the cookies, 350F for 5 to 7 mins depends again on your oven. If you like your cookies crispy bake it 7 to 10 mins. Happy Holidays!!
@@oniemix3946 thank you for your reply. Wishing you a Merry Christmas 🎄🧑🎄🌺👩🍳
