Big thanks to @valliyarnl (Wera) for the tag! Hope you enjoy our lookback over the past year!
I hope you guys read the Wheel of Time at some point. I think you guys would enjoy it! I'm sure you guys are aware that Brandon Sanderson finished off the series after Robert Jordan died. So good!
I still need to get to The Sunlit Man. It's the only secret project book I haven't gotten to. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with it. I'm excited for Stormlight 5 at the end of this year as well. I did think that Elantris was just okay. I did like seeing Sandersons debut work. I enjoyed watching you both nerd out about books! Love to see it!
We are SO excited for Stormlight 5! The main reason for starting the channel actually! But so much more awesome stuff has been discovered along the way :)
Excited to see where you guys go
Thanks! We have been loving the journey!
Great video! I love the Three Body series and the next two books are even better than the first. Hope you keep enjoying your cosmere reading. I took the plunge last year and read all of it to catch up for Wind and Truth
We’re trying to reread everything before the launch too!! Some great books for sure
Thank you so much for announcing what books you are reading. I am loving we Are Legion (We Are Bob). Very much can’t wait to listen to the podcast. (hopefully I get it done in time.) 1.5 I don’t think we’ll be fast enough.
Hope you got it finished in time!! Now on to Red Rising! ;)
Great video as always, you guys are killing it! Nice choices!
Thank you!!
Not sure a 2013 release is a new release but also will second the Powder Mage recommendation.
Love it! Thanks for the recommendation!
I bought the trilogy of Powder Mage can’t wait.
I started listening to it yesterday!
It’s soooo goood don’t want to spoil it so that’s all I can say
Wow! You guys make me want to start this book asap! I’m excited!
Great video guys !!
Glad you responded to the tag 😊
So about that potential collab… 👀
Thanks for the tag @valliyarnl !! Let’s make it happen!
Lots of good recommandations ! You managed to hype me for some of these titles even though I don't even know the author.
Can't say as much about the Elon one though, the dude can't manage to shut up about how smart he is while contradicting himself every other sentence and spreading the most heinous discourse all over twitter.
Im a new reader and came around because of how much I enjoy fantasy movies, tv and games. I’ve finished mistborn era 1 and am in the middle of warbreaker. I cant wait to get to Stormlight but I dont think im going to make it through all 4 before wind and truth. To be honest not sure id make it through 2. I feel like i’m gonna be missing out big come december
Welcome!! So great to have you along reading and prepping for Wind and Truth with us! We are going to do multiple recaps if you’re interested in them before the release so you can be ready if you aren’t able to read them all, or our read-alongs which are much longer but helpful as you’re reading through! Good luck and enjoy!!
Besides the powder mage trilogy my favorite read has been the John Cleaver series by Dan Wells my biggest disappointment this year was a Wheel of Time reread. I forgot most of the slog. My most surprising book was To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini. My favorite story of the year has been Freiren Beyond Journeys End which is an anime. The most anticipated is Wind and Truth by Sanderson. So stocked for Dragonsteel Nexus!!!
That’s a good list! So looking forward to Wind and Truth!!
It was me I commented you should read it lol 5:49 Powder Mage series is criminally underrated
It was a good recommendation! So excited to get to this book!!
Guys please divide your videos on non-spoiler, spoiler sections... you have so many videos I wanna watch but I still haven't read them :(
Thanks for the tip! We will see if we can think of a good way to make this happen, our next couple videos are already recorded though so it probably won’t happen for them… stay tuned for the rest though and we will see if we can figure something out!
