    Bolted mine the exact same way.
    Much stronger and sturdier than using the winch. Been on over a year so far and holding strong.

    Excellent video. I've been wanting to purchase from Hornblasters, but will install the compressor, and air tank, in my tool box instead of underneath the truck.
    Don't know where I'll install the horns, yet, but your video on the wiring install was very effective and I appreciate your taking the time to produce the video on CZcams.

    That chain pull lanyard idea is just like the big rigs lol. I was thinking of a lanyard pull cord to for my HornBlasters kit I’m gonna be ordering. That brand of horns sure seems nice and I really like the spare tire delete kit which I to will order. Your videos are really nice and you explain things. That wiring install seems like you need an electrical engineer degree to figure out lol when your explaining everything. I just don’t know anything about electrical is why I’m saying that. So how is your diagram/idea different from HornBlasters? Thanks pal and keep the cool videos rolling in. I will probably be getting the XL Shocker kit.

    Great video very clear and easy to understand. One quick question what is the reason you added a relay? And why doesn’t the install come with one?

    Love the idea of a pull chain instead of a button. How/where did you get that from and incorporated in to the set up

      I posted a video on how I did it. The momentary pull switch is the part that’s a little hard to find. You can try this? www.finditparts.com/products/3680116/cole-hersee-9109bx.amp?srcid=CHL01SCL010-Npla-Dmdt-Gusa-Svbr-Mmuu-K3680116-L368&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5r32-6nQ7gIVxVPVCh23TAHPEAQYASABEgIAAPD_BwE

    Can i just wire the solenoid and compressor to two separate aux switches? My truck comes with 6 switches already on the dash. Would i still need the pressure switch?

    Question. Will the tire delete setup interfere with a under bed hitch

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  Před 2 lety +1

      It shouldn’t. Your only giving up the spare tire in that location.

      For the entire kit including the train horn set up and spare tire delete bracket, a little over $700 with my discount. If you want to buy a train horn yourself from HornBlasters, use “HARM10” for 10% off.

  • @vegasfordguy
    @vegasfordguy Před 3 lety +1

    Just run to battery power and run relay trigger to ignition on power. Then add a small switch or wire directly to factory horn. Sorry, but your wiring is very sloppy.

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  Před 3 lety +3

      Thanks for your opinion but I wired my horns a specific way to how I wanted them wired and HornBlasters approved the way I wired them. You are more than welcome to wire yours however you want. My video was more of just a guide to help those not familiar with how to wire a Train Horn.
