We love Lynn. Please show more of her. From her second biggest fan.
Such a welcome change from drought conditions over the past year.
Time to stop building, and start relaxing!
You must have missed the that part of life's lessons when “Use it or lose it” was taught. Relaxing is a step towards the loss of muscles and brain cells. :)
Good point about the slipperyness of some tile! Definitely a danger, especially for senior citizens!
Yes, We sure do welcome the rainy season. Have A Wonderful Week.
That flute sounded like the sharpened knives were being used on some unsuspecting victim. Look out for hurricane Beryl!
In 2006 two hurricanes one from the Pacific and one from the Gulf me here and filled up the lake. We need it. We'll take the rain. At a mile above sea level the hurricane wind forces don't make it up here into the mountains.
Imagine the Lake reaching previous levels, glad to hear about the wind. There's still some water in Death Valley from that freak hurricane that missed us in San Diego. We enjoy your videos, glad you care to make them. :)
OMG, love the introduction. So cool. Please send us some rain too. We're dry like a desert in Ga.
Absolutely incredible time lapse of the rain clouds formation accompanied with Richard Strauss´s Also Sprach Zarathustra used for the 2001 Space Odyssey music theme.
I’ve searched for a comment from you. I do read them and remember when we met for lunch … 5 years ago? I'm writing because you asked about a house 3 weeks ago. I just saw the question tonight as I reviewed comments that are held for review and not published publically. Website urls are blocked from public comments and I can't reply to them. I definitely recognize the house. I can see it from my house. It’s the highest on this west side of Ajijic and used to be owned by Sally who declared herself to be queen of the hill. I think there are three houses up there and an old gold mine. Send me an email if you get this. JCTRAVELSTORIES@gmail.com
@@JCTravelStories Got it! Replied to your gmail. Thanks Jerry.
Beautiful 🎉
Thank you! 😊
yeah and just maybe start filling those sand bags Jerry, cause lake Chapala will soon be at your doorstep!
Not possible. The Spanish dug out the end of the lake to create farm land on the shore. I'd love it if it got to my 6 ft seawall. :)
Love you're videos!!!
Glad you like them!
Cannot wait to get back for the rainy season. We've been stuck in hot, humid Texas. Hubby had emergency double Bypass while here on a short vacation. About 2 more wks and we should be back. BTW, I love the tile! Blessing to you and Lynn. ❤
Thanks Cheryl. Speedy recovery for hubby. :)
Thanks Cheryl. Speedy recovery for hubby. :)
A lot of the older Florida houses were built around a swimming pool in sort of a U shape. Your plowing dispute with Ms Lynn reminds me of all the times I tried to help hubby back our camping trailer into a tight spot 😂
400 spouses were run over by RVs backing into campground spaces in 2023. They claim a few were accidents. (Drum roll) :)
😂👍🤗
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks JC, I've got tiles on my patio that need glueing down or replacing. You're helping me get motivated. I see it can be done.
Go for it!
Anything can be done with a man like that.
Very smart.
Tile layer.
He wears knee awesome.
Hello, Lynn and Jerry kitchen's turning out awesome.
Beautiful home Jerry, great photos of the infamous Lynn as well.
Thanks Gerald ………. Jerry?
I'm still waiting for u to get in the pool..😂
I'm thinking of coming back down for a while I want to see the green mountains :) and Lynn xoxoxo
You should! It’s our favorite time of year here.
Bonita su casa , saludos desde Oregon . 65 degrees aqui. 🌻🌼🌴🌱
Always interesting as normal. If you were a software programmer, then I would say you were doing some DEBUGGING. haha. cheers and nice to see the rain.
I'm not a professional, but I have also debugged a few lines of code in html and Excel's Visual Basic.
So Jerry, I gotta ask why you don’t put some screening in the cupola? Besides the bugs being attracted to the light aren’t the bats attracted to the bugs? You know.. the trickle down effect. Twice when staying in Mexico we had bats because of no screens. Another time an owner of the place we rented asked us no to keep the outside lights on because the bats splashed their poop on the side of the house. Sure enough, he was right. So happy for the marvelous rain you’re getting. Our rivers are at flood stage.
Two reasons for no screen. 1. ). A screen restricts the air flow for the cooling effect. 2). The opening allows me to change the light bulb from the roof instead of climbing getting a 20 ft ladder from the stairway below. The bats here leave poop on the house regularly. We've only had one in the house in 20 years and it came through an open door. They're fruit bats not vampires. They eat mosquitoes. They are welcome here.
The entry side is the front.
Yes, of course. A lot of people are locked into conventional opinions. :)

I like the cantera. Where did you buy it?
The only contera here are the pedestals at the corner of the pool. They came with the house in 2004.
@@JCTravelStories The tile. Looks like Cantera, or maybe Adoquin. Anyhow, we're putting in a patio and didn't see it at the two places in Jocotepec where we looked. Where did you get the tile? Muchas gracias.
There's a tile store in Chapala across the road from Soriana. A couple of doors north of the street the Chapala tiangus starts on. Great selection of tiles. That's where I bought mine.
Perfecto! Muchas gracias.
We just bought a house there. For have the price we sold in Todos Santos. And in Todos Santos we were out of water.
You'll love the lower humidity at altitude compared to Baja.
