Love the shelving unit but agree with some of the comments that there are too many books, it all looks a bit too noisy at the moment. Trimming them down a bit will make the console unit pop! Also love the mantle, but think the brick colour could be toned down a bit, would match the kitchen wall x

I have had shelving supports made with gas piping for a couple years or more. I held off installing them because I think I'll need another pair of hands. Maybe lumber prices are more affordable so I can get the shelves. I really like your tape tip. Using that will help me determine the board length.
I'm also going to steal that stain choice.

That pro-tip about pre-cutting edges of dimensional lumber before you measure has been FILED AWAY FOREVER. So simple, soo smart, and something to practice for a lifetime (that I would never have considered. 🤯) This series has kept me sane during our ADU (accessory dwelling unit) build in my grandmother's yard. That is amazing. Well done! Just needs a lil cord management. Move the router over next to the cabinet on the same shelf then cut a bit from the back of the cabinet and tuck all those cables inside the cabinet in a lil bin so they're organized and you should not be able to see any of the cords after that.

I was looking forward to this video! You guys did it again! The bookshelf wall turned out beautiful. 😊 BTW, I also purchased the frame in 43” and it doesn’t come with the regular wall mounting bracket. It only comes with the two small hook brackets which can still be used to mount the tv to the wall. I thought they forgot to put it in my box too lol
Thanks!! And OMG that is so helpful to know about the wall bracket! It didn’t have instructions either and I couldn’t find anything online so was a bit lost (I’ve installed a couple in other sizes so just assumed it should be the same haha).
