- READ DESCRIPTION.
First moments with Bodycam game, it is pretty damn impressive considering it is still an Early Access but obviously it is not perfect and there are bugs. The game ran pretty consistently on 80+ fps with everything set on EPIC (max). I liked the game, but the fun didn't last long. I wrote a brief and honest review on Steam, check it out if you're interested:

Thank you for your time and your Steam Review.
I think I will purchase this to support the devs (only 2 ppl) working on it, in the hopes that they can get the funds needed to flesh it out more as I find the whole Body Cam FPS concept intriguing and look forward to what it can become.
Enjoy the game! It's definitely enjoyable for some time and with more content in the future this game will be a must have.
They pretty much stole the whole concept of 'UNRECORD". the "devs' have 17 yo and 20 and and they said working on this for btw 1/5y and 2y. They banned everybody saying 'refund' on their discord too. I'm French too as the devs and i can tell you this is 80% a Scam. not like thedaybefore but kinda. their business too was created in 09/2023. everything is so strange
Do not do that please.
They are preying on customers. Please read my other comment if you would like to know more, but TL;DR is this "young 2 person dev team," simply ripped off this concept/game from another called "Unrecord."
These guys are in it purely for the money, and I doubt have any intention of making this game anywhere near worth the cost.
@@thelogiikalone200 Who gives a fuck if they ripped it off, if unrecord can't release their game, then let someone else to that
Coming from your steam review as well. Thanks for sharing. :)
It's crazy for your first steam review ever its the best one, that (i can confirm) WE have seen lol. you gotta do game testing or something bro because you mad good at picking up key points that everyone wants to know fr. thanks for the helpful review brudda
Daaamn what an uplifting comment! Thanks a lot :) check back this channel in the future again, maybe there will be more!
saw ur steam review this was real helpful
Yo im from ur steam review thanks for doing this as I was thinking about buying
Thanks for the review on steam i was looking at it and im definitly gonna wait now for the game to be more fleshed out
I came here from your Steam review, great insight. Im gonna hold off on the buy now.
Seems to really nail that feeling of hunting/being hunted at the same time. In reality most people killed in combat probably never even saw the guy who got them.
Came from the steam review thank you
That went dark pretty quick... Literally 😂😂
If you purchase this, does it deduct from the price when you finally buy the game?
I really wish this had a singleplayer mode or something. Although there's absolutely no way I could ever dream of running this lol. I can definitely see by what you mean by the excitement fading, my excitement faded just from watching this video haha. Thanks for the upload / review :)
It's definetely not bad for $17 (location Indonesia)
I'm thinking to buy it
Thank you for your review
i think i will buy and support them later this evening:) 34euros isnt that much money to show them support. thanks for the video :)
out of topic question: how did you managed to refund the game when you played it over 2 hours? is it because the game is in early access?
steam allow u to refund past the 2 hours mark, but not everytime
Ask for refund to your Steam Wallet and give some good reasons why you’re requesting.
i refunded at 2.3 hours cause its running like shit with my 4070, and i gotta better cpu that OP /uploader too
Steam offers refunds past the 2-hour playtime mark if the following conditions are met: you must record yourself performing a song, submit a high-quality picture of a cat, and, optionally, have one hand in an ice bucket while pressing enter on the keyboard for the refund request.
@@Sashik nah i just had to say it was running like shit
Was this on the steamdeck? What settings my graphics look and feels like 💩
Does bullets go through walls?
This is the first stage of the demo give a time and it will come together.
Ain't that the rig from MWII?
Will a 7900xt work for max graphics? Also r9 5900x and 64 gigs of ram
sorry, I’m not familiar with AMD hardware at all
7900 XT outperforms the 4070 Super so yes, unless you have a really weak CPU that can't keep up you'll be fine
@@Willster9000 the cpu is the r9 5900x
@@broken-boringchannel5387 oh lol idk how I didn’t see your cpu in your comment, guess I tunnel visioned. I’m gonna assume cause of graphics it’s gonna be a more GPU intensive game so that CPU should be more than enough to keep up
@@Willster9000 yeah. My 7900xt is basically a 4080 ti with
20gb so hopefully it runs
I was thinking maybe my buddies and I should wait for the updates and more content… before buying. Or maybe on decent sale? Cause $30+ is very steep for a tech demo practically.
I havent played it but for me it kinda looks similar to that roblox "realistic" fps game where it lacked short in terms of gameplay but its still in early access tho
i would like to buy it. answer this when came more polished please and i will buy it. :D
Is this a game of FFA or TDM? If TDM how do u know who the enemy is? Thx for sharing I was going to buy but your review helped me decide to wait for more content Thx
This game was a FFA, when it’s a TDM you see a green square on your team mates as well as their names
Is this multiplayer online?
how did your game get so clear i have grain or smth like that
If I remember correctly you get to choose how sharp it looks in graphics setting, check it out there.
Game ran like shit for me before I enabled AMD fsr frame boost (quality). It's compatible with Nvidia card's (not including the 10 series and previous). It more than doubled my frames and lowered my render latency exponentially at max settings (now 150fps avg. @1440p). I'm running a 4070s with a ryzen 7 5700x @4.40GHz and 32gb of ddr4 @3000MHz.
I think the game is a pretty decent price all things considered. Hopefully if people support this game the devs will do the same. There is a lot of potential.
Game is born dead, its sad cause the game would be great if these kids werent soo greedy
Man it feels kinda weird looking at it, it's almost too much realism for me, I feel like I would feel weird after playing this for a few hours :P
came from steam, stopped at 0:26 cuz iv made up my mind.
this is amazing! i was in the israeli army, this feels so real!! it looks sick and i think im gonna buy it
Dont mind me! 😂 im just here to see the hate comments.
same XD
game lacks of content, aside from the filter and the weapon sway, its just your average overpriced shooting game, atp just download stalker anomaly and install desolation and bodycam shader, and you get 10 years worth of content FOR FREE
Lol this 'early access' trend needs to die. Just an excuse to release half baked crap.
can't believe so many people are falling for this scam
How dare you harvest clicks and content for a game you don't even want to pay for. Disgusting.
Wait until you hear about the people who get games for free and make a living out of (not) recommending games **gets heart attack**
RIP Tarkov
This game isn't impressive in the slightest. It is a rip-off of "Unrecord," a high quality, single-player FPS that is from the perspective of a bodycamera. They released a teaser trailer to garner hype, as the game is far from release, with no date announced.
Shortly after Unrecord's trailer was released, all of the sudden, "Bodycam," is released, looking almost like a carbon copy of the trailer footage of Unrecord.
This game is hollow, and its because it was never meant to be released in a finished state. They wanted to steal customers.
"Made by a 2 person dev team who are only 17 and 20,"
Yeah, its so impressive to rip off another studio's novel idea for a quick buck
Playing the game for 4.7 hours, still managing to order a refund and then leaving a negative review. Its early access.
People like you ruin the gaming industry.
'Its pretty damn impressive considering its in early access'
*gives negative review and refunds*
you have a very shallow view on the gaming industry if you think someone asking for a refund on a game that they felt is not worth the price they paid is going to cause it to crumble and collapse
dont worry, he is supporting the game industry by preordering the next Battlefield, the next Bethesda product and the next CD Project Red overhyped tech demo :)
The game is fun for a few hours until the reality kicks in and you notice that this game does not offer anything else that would make you want to keep playing it, unless you're such a simple gamer that you just like to pew pew pointlessly with no challenging tasks or objectives (the broken bomb mode isn't justifying it either). This game literally has nothing just a nice, although understandably half broken, engine. Regardless, I gave the developers their credit and you would find out if you had a capacity to read the whole review.
'People like you ruin the gaming industry' - is one of the most buzzword phrases to use that has absolutely no relevance to this guy's situation.
@@ddanex I know this feeling, had it too with several other "early alpha's" that never really got out of this stage. But knowing it only has 2 devs, I can see why things not really going as fast as people expect it. This is one of those things I like to call "Let it cook before we taste"
"i died. This game sucks"
Aahahahhahahahaha
Right? People are refunding the game because it is early access and exactly what it is advertised as? I don't get it lol
@@Yumbled People are refunding because the game has absolutely nothing to offer for that 30$ price tag, its just a tech demo and correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that this game uses free to use maps and assets.
You are wrong, you are paying to support independent developers to improve and further a game, if you dont want to then dont, they literally said that. They are allowing the community to point out problems from multiple viewpoints and perspectives so they can make it better faster.
@@sparten1129 You're justifying a 30$ price tag because they're independent developers? If they want support for their game there are better ways to get it than releasing an overpriced tech demo with again, 0 content.
