My dad committed suicide 10 years ago. The line “I can’t help that all I think about is how you were taken way to soon” is deep to me. I was 7 when he passed and all I think about is how he left my life too soon. Losing someone that you love so much is the absolute hardest thing to overcome. I’m so sorry to everyone who has gone through this. No one deserves to go through that pain. Fly high dad❤️

Seatbelts can also cause deaths as well. This song always makes me think of my Mamaw whom I lost as a 10 year old little girl. It’s 14 years this year that she has been gone.

She was only 35 and cancer beat her after a year of fight. We danced every single Saturday night to that song at the bar on the dance floor and then this song happens. I know it seems impossible. But in time you're going to get better at this weight of greif. Its taken me yrs to deal. But im doing it all alone. No family around now. I can't even begin to imagine loosing my wife. I married my high school sweetheart. We've been together 19 years. More than half my life. I just lost my mother to breast cancer .she was 53 years old..way too young. And now my.wife is loosing her dad to bladder cancer. I would've not thought in a million years we would be going through literally the same thing at almost the same time. It hurts so bad. But I'm grateful that I have her . Even though sometimes I feel like I don't deserve her. I thank God for her. He's blessed me undeserving. Keep your head up brother. Your wife is still watching over you in spirit. I'm sorry for your lost man and yes it's hard but keep your head up and when your time comes you'll see her again one day in heaven and never forget she loves you and wants you to do your best here and I'm not sure if your in church or not but if not get right with the lord and save yourself and if you mess up just pray and ask God to forgive you and he will, but keep your head up it may get hard to sometimes but think she's still with you in your heart and not physically but she is still beside you and I know losing someone is really hard, today I had to say goodbye to a very great lady that tought me a lot she was an elderly person that went to my church and I know she's in a better place now. I still have his voicemails on my phone and when I want to hear his voice I call it. He passed away suddenly from a heart attack. My sister's and myself went through 5 years of watching him go in and out of hospitals. Like Chris said, " we lost our best friend and we weren't ready to say goodbye". I sent this song to my sister's and we all agreed that this was the first song that really described what we were feeling. My dad was only 64 and was taken too soon. Miss you dad!

I held my moms hand as she passed away in December. Grateful to be an RN so that I could walk her through her cancer journey & care for her at home on hospice. I’m only 26 & the oldest. Two of my brother’s close friends died this past weekend in a car crash. They were only 17 years old, their whole lives ahead of them. I’ll think about those sweet boys everyday. This hits me word for word. I lost my best friend at 17, and he was 18. He was the best man I knew and I always try to live my life like he would want me to. Live with kindness, hard work, and to stay humble. He was swimming in a lake and drowned having a seizure and I wasn't there when I could've been. I miss you Ryan.
