Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for you videos. When I first got my Bullseye, a friend told me to watch your videos to get an idea of what I'm doing. Let me add, I've never used a pellet smoker. You have never steered me wrong! Thanks again Mike!
Oh awesome! Comments like this make this all even more fun! Thank you.
Same. When I was researching the Bullseye, Mike's videos were the first to grab me, now that I have it, I'm loving these ideas. Only used a gas grill and an electric smoker. Loving the Bullseye so far!
I started out in a gas grill and a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker as well!
Just purchased our Bullseye yesterday online. Can't wait to get it and start using it. Wanted to thank you for your videos because they were the difference in us deciding to make this purchase. Keep doing what you're doing! Appreciate ya'!
Congrats on the new grill! You will for sure get your monies worth from using it.
Really helpful... I appreciate it!
This is like the 4th steak video that I've seen uploaded this morning 😂 not complaining though, great way to start a Tuesday and yours looked great 👍
Haha I know! Random
Looks great! Thanks for posting man!
Thank you for watching!
Looks bomb 🔥
It was!
Nicely done!
I love watching your videos. Keep it up man.
I appreciate your support!
Fantastic looking ribeye Mike. I did a "no sear" video on a steak about 8 yrs ago and it was fabulous eating. Your steak looked much better with all of that seasoning and I know it was some mighty fine eating! Happy New Year bro!!! Cheers to ya!!!!
Oh awesome I will have to go watch that video! This style will for sure be in my rotation when it comes to cooking ribeyes! Thanks for watching Troy!
Dude. First off fantastic idea for a video, amazing thumbnail, And of course props for the way you were able to time the car alarm at the end to subconsciously get people to hit the ring bell. That’s Jedi level stuff. LOL
Let me know if you ever have too much prime rib and need a place for it. I mean what are friends for, am I right? Lol. Great video Mike
Thanks for the feedback it’s always appreciated (good or bad) from you! That car alarm was sadly the downside of backyard filming in the burbs! I know you know that all too well!! Thanks for watching and yes next time I cook a prime rib I’ll have you over!
@@mikebowerstv I will definitely take you up on that offer. lol.
Yeah, totally agree on living in the suburbs. I've been thinking a lot lately about stuff like that. I think my goal in 2022 is to try to let stuff like that slide more and just embrace it rather than letting it drive me crazy. I mean, getting frustrated has not stopped a single airplane from flying over, ya know? lol
That looks good
It’s one of my favorite ways to cook
Ribeye now!
I love your videos. You've got a great smoker. I bought the Reqtec 1070 so I use your advice for the same cooks. Thanks
I appreciate you watching. Just in case you didn’t see the announcement as if this week all future cooking videos will be on my new channel @mikebowerstv
Great videos sir, liked and subscribed. Just got a bullseye so these are perfect!
Thank you! Congrats on the new grill!
Looks good brotha
Man it was awesome.
Great video. Very easy to follow. I used my Reqtec 1070 for 4 x 10 oz ribeyes
Thanks for watching!
Looks delicious, and like a perfect option for my small family😊👍
It is perfect!
Good job 👍🏽 looks amazing 🤩
Thank you, it was tasty for sure.
Awesome my friend, love it 👍
Thank you!
I like to smoke my ribeyes at 225F until 125F then pull em and let them rest for about 10min or until the temp drops about 5-10 degrees then throw them on for a quick sear on both sides and then the fat cap for a little extra rendering. Gives you the best of both worlds of low n slow smokiness combined with the beautiful crust/texture from the sear.
Yes the reverse sear is awesome but straight smoke provides a different texture and flavor profile. Both are great methods.
Looks awesome👍
Man it was!!
Shout Out @Bowers BBQ #AWESOME COOK Coming at you from South Texas :)
Good hearing from you it’s been awhile since your last check in!
Awesome looking steak, Mike!!!!
Thank you! One of the best I’ve had!
I haven’t tried smoking the rib eye steak but the way you did it looks delicious and I’m going to try it
It’s soooo good!
You're the man, thumbs up and subscribed

Great looking steak Mike. 👍
I appreciate you watching Joe! By accident it seems to be #steakweek for us CZcamsrs!
That was an awesome looking steak Brother!!
I appreciate you watching!!
Hello Mike! I agree... prime rib left over is not very good. LOL... car alarm!... hope is wasn't yours! 🤣🤣🤣 Take care Mike!
Ha, not my alarm.
I thought you were going to show us how to sear it! Looks yummy 😋. Brand new to smoking!! Bar B Q Queen. Trying something new!! 😝
No sear on this one straight smoke and oh so good!
love ribeyes on the bull
So tasty!
Hello Mike,
I just bought my RT 380. I don't seem to find many step by step instruction on cooking/smoking meats for this model. There is a bunch for Tregger's.
I bought a book called Master the wood pellet grill. Maybe this will give me some tips, tricks timing, temps etc. I'm not into cooking pizza's, deserts etc on my grill. Maybe it's the carnivore in me. Do you have any suggestions for a new be.
Thanks and Happy Holidays, Boe
I have an extensive Bullseye playlist with many meaty cooks.
Great minds think alike brotha 😂. Good stuff. Great cook
#steakweek
@@mikebowerstv that’s the best week lol
Great video Mr. Mike. Next time try smoking the ribeye on your Shirley Fab pit (more work I know but worth it). My house is same on rare steaks, and find myself smoking my ribeye solo all the time. I have a Hunsaker drum too and it cooks almost as well on solo ribeyes. A matter of fact, burger patties are pretty damn good on either cooker. My wife sayth “thou shalt have no other grills before me” or I would have a Bullseye 😭
I have a Shirley Tomahawk Ribeye video planned! I bet steaks turn out awesome on that Drum!
Great ribeye 👌👌. Thanks. On another note, what is the name of the song at the end of your videos? Thanks in advance.
Absolutely great ribeye. Thanks!!
On another note, what is the name of the song at the end of your videos? Thanks in advance.
Man that steak was awesome! The name of the song is Wild West Farm. It was a copyright free song I got on iTunes.
That steak looks perfect absolutely perfect dam you really made my mouth water lol
Man it was awesome! I have to do this again.
@@mikebowerstv yeah I'm making this weekend for sure
Hey Mike! What kind of smoker did you use in this video? By the way, the steak looked awesome!
The grill/smoker I used was my Recteq Bullseye.
Can't go wrong with steak man
Always a good meal!
@@mikebowerstv I'm doin a steak video tonight actually lol
It seems to be the trend this week!
A quick sear would have made it even better.
I’ve done that many times, but this gave it a different flavor profile that I kinda like more. Both ways are great though.
How much hotter does it run for you ?
About 50 degrees
None of us like prime rib either but we seem to be in the minority
It’s one of my favorites!
