Thanks, Larry. I thought there was only one type of snaffle. Great info, clearly presented.
You are welcome, Sibyl
What do you think about a loping hack?OK to use daily re-education 😅
I don't know what a "hack" is. At least not one in a "positive" sense of the word. If you're referring to a braided hackamore, I'm familiar with it. Few people know how to use one correctly. They think it's kind of something to lope around in.
Thank you where can I buy heavy professional split reins like that?
buckarooleather.com or roohide.net.
Call them and let them know you are with me.
@@ltrocha wow thank you 😊
What are your thoughts on heavy weight snaffles. One of mine that I’ve used in the past is a three piece loose ring weighted. The reason I’ve used it is the amount of pre signal I feel it gives and it’s not as sharp as the thinner lighter bits. That being said I am currently using a lighter 2 piece snaffle with d rings. I am in constant work with getting my hands slower and softer.
Use the bit that works best for you and your horse. Watch my video titled, "What Good Hands Are". Softness of your hands may be misplaced.
@@ltrocha thank you!!

hi larry. do you still own that gorgeous blonde? the cutting horse you bought for more than you planned to a couple of years ago. he is likely worth a fortune now. i fell in luv with him. question: a lot of bittless riding now it seems. what do you think about it? thankyou for your podcasts.
They are illegal at the shows. Plus they really aren't safe to use unless you have a very willing horse that has no desire to act up.
