This is the best secured credit video I have watched
What do you mean pay bill in full ? The full $200 or you pay the small purchase?
100% agree
Keyshun Lowe (no only pay back full when you purchase something w/ the credit card) example: u go buy a burger that cost $5 and u payed w/ ur credit card. At the end of the month. U just need to pay what u have spent on ur secured credit card.
My Le thanks for the replying
Keyshun Lowe the small purchase

Great video fam. I was looking into banking black. And was considering getting the OneUnited bank secured credit card. Do you have any videos that’s specific to that? Or could you provide any information on banking black and the pros/cons of it?
Thanks for sharing!! I was recently approved for a secured card and was unsure of how it was going to help me build a credit history; as this is all new to me. The best advice @ 5:02 was what I needed to hear.
Happy I was able to assist!
Great Video ❤️
Thank you ❤️
Thank you, wow you just mentioned what I needed to know and didn’t hear from anyone else: one purchase a month and pay it on time. 😊👍
Great!!
I have a question !! Loved the video by the way !! Soooo even though it’s your money you can’t spend how ever much you want on your secured credit card ? Is it bad to spend 200 if you have $300 dollars on your credit card ?
Great video brother, you should work with us helping people get their credit in line!

No problem thank you
If you have it in your pocket pay it on your credit card, then make sure you *pay the full balance* every month !!
Word
Thanks
Hello! 😊
I just got approved for a discover it secured card ($200). When you say “pay it off in full”, should I do it before the due date or before the statement date. Your video helped me. Thank you!
Thank you
Great info 🙏🏽
Thank you
Thank u bro I just opened one cuz I’m 18 and I wasn’t qualified for any other cards
Do you recommend auto pay or pay it yourself ? Like will auto pay make sure you alway on time and won’t affect your credit
When you say pay it in full do you mean pay the $5 I spent back with my debit card after using my credit card??? Im lost on the paying it off part because do you just put the $5 you spent back into the card or?
I got a secured card for 200$ is my limit. Should I use like 30$ a month and then pay the 30$ back before the month is over?? I’m confused on how to pay it back on there. Is the goal to always keep 200$ in there?!
hi pls I am new to this I understand the the part where you said make one purchase a month and pay it back asap but am I to make purchase from initial amount put in the savings or am I to put whatever x amount of thing in the card before using it
I’m glad this video is helping so many of you! Cash Apps are appreciated if you’d like 🙂 $THEECCM

Will I have to join the bank to get their secured credit card? And how many bank accounts can a person have?
How do I pay my bill? And when? Thank you
Great video! So I have a secured credit card for $200 can I pay my phone bill for $35 every month and pay it off every month and be ok or should I still just do $20?
$35 will do just fine. As long as you pay your balance in full. Keep up the great work!
Do you have a video with explanation why to never close credit card and keep it forever. I don’t fully understand
I thought I did, but I will make a new video soon so make sure you are subbed. To keep it short, when you close a credit card (especially your oldest credit card) you lose all of the history with it and you do not want to lose credit history. It hurts your average age of accounts.
What does it mean when your credit score isn’t going up anymore? I make Payment on time every month and it now only goes up up by one point
Would you recommend getting a second secured credit card a couple months after you’ve had your first one or could you get a couple at the same time?
Thanks In advance.
You can get a few at the same time if you want to.
Do you pay off what you use once your statement comes in, or before?
ALSO once i get credit why cant i close this card? if i leave it open do i still need to use it??
So ur monthly payments would only be $5 to $20 if u stay under the 10% ?
Sonmy credit availble is what i can use and my balence is whay i owe?with that said i have 100 credit availble which at 1 point was 200 and 100 balence,i have to pay that 100 balence back to make my credit availble back to 200,basically im my own credit card company and i owe myself to place back that 100?
So you think its best to spend about $50 let's say (on a $200 limit) and pay it off before the statement comes in? I keep hearing people say that you want to have a low utilization.
Hello I just got a discover it secured credit card. Does this card charge interest rate ? I would think NO because your using your own money right or wrong ?
Hello, would you recommend me using the credit card to pay $50 dollars a months? For example, I want to use it for gas money and that's about what I mostly spend on gas, I have a $400 dollars credit card btw
Use whatever u need on Gas and just make sure your balance is paid down to ZERO DOLLARS by the DUE DATE so they report that credit utilization at 0% to the credit beaurues
What's a better, safer way to start building credit for the first time? The Discover it secured credit card, or Self Lender?
I’m old school with it. I’m going with Discover
Question might some dumb but I did a $200 and if I use it for a purchase of $20 and I pay it in full for the monthly bill after that does that mean I only have $180 in that card ? Or does it go back to $200?
Sorry if this sounds kinda silly to ask but it’s my first time with a secured card.
If you pay the 20 it goes back to 200
Do you need proof of previous employment in order to Apply for a Secured Credit Card?
When you say pay it in full, how do you pay it? Like do you go to the bank after the purchase and say I wanna pay this? Or do they send a bill at the end of the month? Or what? Sorry if that sounds dumb
Kailey Sisk not dumb. Great question. I pay online in full (whatever the balance is showing) before my statement cycle ends. It’s important to pay in full before the statement cycle ends so the credit card company reports to the bureau as 0
Do you not get the $200 back the same day? I was listening to Jay Morrison and he said you get it back the same day.
you remind me of my brother, i can't pinpoint what why, but that makes me want to trust everything u say lol.
Hey I’ll take it! 😂
I just got my security credit card and it’s hella complicated plus I’m not sure if I’m paying it off right like I would per say spend like 17 at Walmart and transfer it to credit when I get home same day like is that the correct way to do it I don’t want to wait too long to pay it off
Just call and ask
Subscribed
Thank you 🙏🏽
Would it be a good idea to put something like a subscription on on a secured card
Yes!
so we never close thatt credit card so what happens if i dont use it at all after that?
So once i qualify for an unsecured card still keep my secured card open? An does the money i put down just remain on that secured card or is that the refundable down payment an how does that work?
Yes keep the credit card open this is important because this has all of your history. The bank will typically give you your money back in the form of a check but keep the card open.
Can pay the balance off as soon I got the bill?
So say my balance is at 200 and I spend 190 but I pay 180 the same week so I can only pay 10 at the end of the month does that keep my utilization percentage good?
As long as you billing cycle doesn’t end showing you owe $190 you should be good!
Is it still best to use 30% of the credit limit even though it’s your own money?
Hey what do u mean by pay it in full?
If I pay off what I spend weekly do I still have to pay a bill at the end of the month even tho I paid everything off
Nope. If you have the balance at zero, it’s nothing to pay 😉. Keep up the great work!
