But she did stay on theme which was a good thing at least. But I feel like her and her stylists were trying to play safe and they didn't wanna go all out w her fits. For the first year of her met, I feel like they should've chosen from archives. Js like what Dua Lipa did. It's cool, she stayed on theme, donning a vintage fit from 1990 Chanel. Cute and all, but very very basic for the met. Same with Rosé, her outfit too once again was very basic for the met, looked like smtg one would wear to a cocktail party. But Jennie did stay on theme the first year which a was good thing, inconsiderate of whether she slayed or not. This year, however she actually did not serve. Like how was the blue dress even in theme? It was just a piece of fabric poorly draped around her chest area and waist. It wasn't even in theme. Blinks say that it was supposed to indicate the ocean. How? Because it's blue? I mean, have you guys seen Alia Bhatt or even Zendaya? THAT WAS BEAUTY. Also blue just made Jennie look not so pretty. Throughout both the years, she just tried to play safe and she didn't go all out. This is the main reason why she wouldn't rationally be considered as the main event at the met, irrespective of how pretty she looks. Because that's not a factor to consider here. That's the case with most kpop Idols, they try to play safe and their clothes just end up looking very basic and just don't stand out amongst all the others.
