Fair play to Schwager, I don't think I have ever seen onboard from a stiffer sprung car as this, must be really hard work. Its bouncing all over the palce, surely better top soften the damopers and springs, the bumps are unsettling it all the time, though it has a great engine!!
it is not that bad as you say: look at the sls at 2 26: if he turns his head, the "ear" of the racing seat and chassis is in the way of his sight. look at his mirror: the view of the mirror will not see the porsche. there is only one rule: do not change racing line if u dont know left and right are clear. i find it his driving a bit of helpless too, especially he did it twice: the car is jsut a number too big for him :D
@Kaipeternicolas That's sort-of true. The GT3 class doesn't judge cars by the engine layout. There are straight-6's, flat-6's, V8's, V10's and even V12's. The GT3's are judged on the "balance of performance". Which an overall factor (speed, power, weight,...)
No bro, I am not experienced circuit driver. But I am experienced rally and off road driver. (In real life). I also had a change to lap at the ring. GT5 is very realistic but never will be real.

@MVdesign This is very likely the 2011-spec B6 GT3 with a 5.0 liter naturally aspirated V8. The supercharged 4.4 liter unit proved to be too complicated for racing duty, so Alpina replaced it with a more conventional unit for the Alpina B6 Evolution model for 2011.
@MVdesign see that's what I got confused about. Ok so the LMS is always a V10 but is allowed to compete with the V8s... because they have similar power output I imagine.
Die Autos haben noch ne Menge mit den serienmodellen zu tun im Vergleich zu der DTM... Aber beim Z4 mussten sie den Motor tauschen zum V8 weil er sonst nicht mithalten hätte können!

Isn`t it going to be a crying shame when all racing cars are wheezy 4 cylinder 1.6 turbos ? Give me a big hairy chested V8 any day. The sound from that motor is spine chilling... That`s why people like me are addicted motor racing. 1960`s Formula racing you had the Ford DFV. TT cars you had the Chevrolet Big bangers and the Ford 5 litre V8. Any era you care to race in had the obligatory hairy chested loud powerful V8`s.... I loved the motor racing before we tried to save the planet with very few (by comparison) racing cars. Rant over !!!!
and this is why Germany is the mecca of motor sports.
