Great video... Easy with naked forearm. I have to wear a heavy coat most of the time, and it doesn't fit through or over the forearm loop... Can I just use the crutch like a walking stick, without getting my arm through the loop?

How to walk when opposite leg and hand is fractured? For eg left hip and right shoulder is fractured for me forcing to use right hand for these crutches for my right hip support. Looks a bit tricky

A very nice video detailing d perfect way to use a crutch... Two things to incorporate
1) also add stairs where there is an option of handrails...
2) more importantly Next time u create a video pls do use an person who has actually injured his leg... That makes a huge difference as she/ he could actually relate n share few difficulties one faces initially nd how to cope with it....

agreed i had a complex tibia and fibula fracture couple months ago.and just started with weight bearing.its not easy to replicate climbing or getting down stairs with that ease as seen in video.

Yes, on the good leg side always
Yes! Let's assume your injured leg is the "Left Leg" Though one thinks that the elbow crutch should be used on the left side as well, surprisingly you can do that and manage to shift the body weight on your arm and shoulder, however it is difficult to balance and takes up more energy and a stronger left arm.
On the other hand if you put the elbow crutch on your right arm, it allows better balance, taxes lesser muscle / energy of the right arm, and is surprisingly easier. Give it a try while someone accompanies you and you will get to better understand what I mean by experiencing it yourself.

Yeah this is great , just that I would recommend putting weight on the injured side rather than the good one.
