one way to really grow ur hair is wearing knotless braids for 3-4 months (like said in the video) i did that once when quarantine started cus i didnt wanna take out my hair and i was home everyday so i just kept it in. i kept it in for ab 3 months and my hair GREW!!! like a LOT! the front of my hair went from nose length to the bottom of my lips. i did it again later last year and now my hair is way past my face. i wish i knew this back in middle school 😭

I had a pixie cut at that page but I only permed the sides for my prom other than that, I had it natural, so I would so perm rod sets and if I was up for it, I’d straighten it every now then. I still have my shaved sides(will be 6 yrs) , but I have locs now (will be 3 years) and last year a grew out my undercut so I’m getting Loc extensions for that part.

I'm very tempted to get loc extensions. Do you know if they are more likely to cause alopecia and/or related hair loss than compared to other styles such as box braids, marley twists, cornrows, etc? Genuinely want to know and educate myself on loc extensions. Thanks in advance!
I actually am not sure exactly but if you think of them in terms of "braids" it is the same. The thinner your hair is more likely I wouldn't advise any type of style in which your hair has something onto it. It also depends on your lack of care for your hair. I hope that helps!
Hey I got a quick question to ask, so I recently got loc extensions and it’s like one day old but I notice that on the top of the hair not the scalp More like the forehead top it’s very puffy/big and I don’t know if its supposed to be like that bc my hair need to have a few weeks or months of getting interlocked or it’s like that bc the lady I went to didn’t interlock my hair right
You are free to call your locs what you like🙂. That said, dreads started in Jamaica where I am from. And they are called dreadlocks because the white colonialist feared the awakening of the people to their blackness and black pride via Rastafari. Dreadlocks to us is not a negative word. It symbolises black power. Just so you are aware. Peace.
