What's your track of the year so far?
It’s a mix between:
Holding Absence - Nomoreroses
Sleep Token - Alkaline
Sleep Token - The Love You Want
Ice Nine Kills - Hip To Be Scared
Don Broco - Manchester Super Reds Number One Fan
Still putting Erra - Gungrave as my first but this and flight of the fireflies by Orbit Culture are pretty close second and third spot
Archspire - golden mouth of ruin (so far for my taste, most will be released in September to November)

Trivium - In The Court Of The Dragon but it's probably tied with this and pretty much the entire ERRA album.
This is the perfect metalcore song. Nothing else needed 😍
Such a memorable track. It combines so many elements of classic metalcore and is so incredibly melodic. Easily one of the best overall tracks I’ve heard in awhile.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Birb's versatility in the hydration game.

Best old school metalcore track I’ve heard in a REALLY LONG TIME
This is the song to show people when they ask you what Phinehas sounds like. It perfectly encapsulates their sound. Absolutely love this song.
Fleshkiller and Blood on my Knuckles are still my favorite songs right now, but these first two songs off this new records are close.
That melodic guitar intro with the distortion sounds very Insomnium-Like which is a great thing. Great song. This band is really underrated
Easily song of the year for me, Pure perfection. this album is going to be awesome!
This was good but I liked their last single more. My track of the year is still probably The Collection by Signs of the Swarm and it came out last February lol. That new Traitors song is also probably one of my favorite songs to come out this year.

I don't think you have done it and you need to check out timo's(from our mirage) new band. ALLEVIATE
Not bad but aside from the tapping nothing surprising for me. At least they brought back the tapping section from the beginning (or a variant of it, not sure after one listen). The vocals were badly mixed in front ( in the bridge part before the solo). One of the better metalcore (I think I just don't like Major and all of metalcore seems to be written in it) songs I've heard this year, but that vocal section really puts it down for me.

The vocals are my least fav part of this amazing band. Still amazing music but that’s just my opinion.

eh. A little bit generic for me. To me it just sounds like a djent-ier version of In Flames. Not a fan of a ton of guitar tapping across the entire track. It's not bad, but nowhere near toty for me lmao
