Farewell Sir Mekere

The country said its final goodbyes to former Prime Minister and Member for Moresby North West Sir Mekere Morauta in an emotional ceremony in Port Moresby today.
The church grounds of Sione Kami Memorial church was packed to capacity as many city residents joined the country's leaders and the family of Sir Mekere to bid farewell.
Son, Dr, James Morauta could not hold back his tears as he read the Scriptures during the State Funeral to honour his father.
