- It seems after months of silence and delays....multiple sources are confirming that retail C8 E-Rays are on the assembly line. The first Hybrid Corvette is one step closer to consumer driveways. We look at some recent window stickers for E-Rays and talk about this frustrating E-Ray Launch.
Price increases before a single consumer car is made and no where near the original proposed deadline.

Couple more sources have confirmed retail car production has commenced. The window stickers in the video are in fact CTF cars. The final production Vin sequence isn't known at this time so those window stickers won't become available for a little longer. But huge milestone for the E-Ray!!
The ER is going to get better and you know the ER is going to get better. It’s gonna get better because Corvette is always getting better at the move it makes.

I ordered my Stingray on march 23 2021. I waited and waited and while attempting through GM’s concierge service in order to find out why so long to have it delivered two months after its build (June 2003), I was told that it was sitting in Michigan waiting for a transport truck. Now I know why - factory build problems - probably transmission. Good outcome: my car came in with two others, a Stingray and a beautiful Z06. Turns out that the Z06 buyer had to back out of the purchase and so I bought it! Couldn’t be happier.

I'm excited to try it out. It will be very different from everything I've read and seen. Hope they nail this one. For many of us this might be the keeper corvette

hey i dont know if youll see this but i did slp loudmouths from your video and i get a strong gas smell is that normal from doing something like that
Hey. The mufflers would have nothing to do with a gas smell. That shouldn't have anything to do with the exhaust. Possible fuel line leak. Seen a few trucks on the forums have that issue.

@@trxcali had the truck been sitting or was it a really cold day and you started it and tried to drive right away without it warming up? That's weird. Glad the smells gone tho

I have a deposit down for an eray. Biggest regret I “may” have is the engine noise. It sounds artificial. What are your thoughts
I think that it will sound just like the stingray and when in EV stealth mode will be the only time it won't sound great and have EV sounds.
Sounds great and unique on the CZcamss. Ingenious of Gm to combine the electric with the ice sound.
I’m done being excited about getting a new Corvette, at this point I can wait years or never. I am done with the “buyers experience” and lack of product for whatever BS reason they wanna come up with. Are you sure you want an E Ray ? It’s a first year model highly technical car they can barely build the C8 Corvette without problems.
It's under warranty and if it breaks then I can share the journey on CZcams so it makes sense for me. Besides these linger transmission issues GM has had good reliability from the c8 platform but I agree, the customer and buyer experience is utter trash. If the c8 wasn't such a value bargain....I'd take my money elsewhere....tho with these price increases a used Audi R8 is a better buy then a Z06. Better buying experience and more unique car.
