Hollywood needs the old-school auteurs like Nolan more than ever
Is he considered old school? 🤔
@@amuroray9115he doesn’t have a cell phone and writes scripts on a computer with no internet. I would say so.
@@amuroray9115he shoots with commissioned imax film, not digitally and avoids CGI in any instance where it can be done practically, like oppenheimer was entirely film and practical, looks like was taking a leaf out of Stanley Kubrick’s or Ridley Scott’s book
@@jimmyog good point
@@jimmyoghis films look nothing like Kubrick’s. Nolan is more blockbuster/commercial. Wes Anderson, Yorgos Lanthimos and Todd Field films have the “arthouse feel” of Kubrick’s world, (especially Lanthimos)
So well spoken. Best director of the last 20 years in my opinion.
100%
Paul Thomas Anderson wants to know your location
Long overdue Oscar. Every Nolan film I’ve seen has been simply incredible
💯💯💯
Oh man, when he said, "I can do curls now, because they're pretty heavy," made my day already lol. Christopher Nolan never fails to impress anyone, including me.
Congratulations Christoper Nolan! Over 20 years of making incredible movies, well deserved Oscar win for best director. Oppenheimer is an absolute masterpiece.
Absolutely outstanding breathtaking film overjoyed for him and Cillian just soooooo amazing
@@helenheeney2284and Robert Downey Jr! Well deserved win and simply incredible film
“Academy Award winner Christopher Nolan”
About damn time to finally say those words!
ABOUT FUCKING TIME
😊
Finally.
He shouldv'e gotten the oscar for The Dark Knight but neverless, he deserves it!
Congratulations to Christopher Nolan for winning Best Director of Oppenheimer at the Academy Awards 2024. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆💯💯💯💯💯💯
0:20 "Bingo!" 😂😂
And his expression at 2:04
He was like a child with his candies! 😊
Bravo Nolan! 👏
He finally got the Oscar he should have gotten 15 years ago for The Dark Knight.
Tells alot about The Academy not posting Jonathan Glazer's speech
they will post it. chill
Guys what the hell, just upload the whole show.
They never do that and why would they😐😒
@@blackguyofthesouth2161so people who missed the live show can see it the next day
Congrats Mr. Nolan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well Done and Congrats Christopher Nolan you the best Directing and actor..
One in a billion director! a director like christopher nolan is hard to find! Absolute gem :-) Well deserved :-) 👏🏻
Congratulations Nolan
He should've won for other movies
Congratulations Christopher Nolan Sir...💐
Finally.
King
Jonathan Glazer's acceptance speech was beautiful!!!
Bravo Mr. Nolan!
Hey, just curious. Who won Best International Film? Why can't I find the speech on your channel?
For me, Chris is the best director in the world
THE BEST
GOAT
If you make yourself more than just a man and devote yourself to an ideal. You become something else entirely. A legend.
Nolan and Villeneuve are the 2 best Director's in the world right now
Better than Scorsese and Spielberg
I agree 100%
He seems like a promising Director, what's his name again😊
chris walking in with his twins 😂😂
Where is Jonathan Glazer’s speech?
What a boss
Finally he got it god thing he got it for this not for Tenet or Dunkirk
One of the best mastermind of holywood movies ❤
Where is Jonathan Glazer's speech? Why are you censoring him?
Have you really removed the speech of the best foreign film by Glazer?!
Christopher Nolan had his award in the bag. He’s given us quite a mix of genre films that were high calibre.
Not that surprising, the elitist Oscars didn’t even acknowledge the pure movie magic that Greta Gerwig created when she directed Barbie. Apparently, the subject matter for the Barbie film was considered too lowbrow for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. 😂
Why are you not posting the Zone of Interest one? Is Jonathan Glazer being censored for speaking about Gaza?
Strange, where do we find Jonathan Glazer’s speech?
ABC's channel
Where is RDJ one
IN NOLAN WE TRUST! 🏆😎
2025: DENNIS VILLENEUVE! 😏
where is jonathan glazers speech? 😊
Nolan, you are one of my cinema heroes, I always imagined that I would celebrate with everything these moments in which you will win your well-deserved awards, but now I can't since once again they did the same shit to Scorsese, andthe worst thing is that they used Nolan as a human shield against Scorsese, I see Spielberg a little uncomfortable seeing that once again they insult his friend Scorsese by stupidly ignoring him, it is an insult to the seventh art that they do this to Scorsese,it gave me a lot of helplessness that a moment that always I wanted to see and live, I couldn't enjoy it.A tie would have been iconic with three GOATS on stage, but unfortunately the members of the academy do not have the neurons necessary ecessary to make a historic moment like that. Anyway, Nolan, Spielberg and Scorsese, my film heroes, teachers. The academy sucks.
He was drunk right? 😂 I can tell because he usually doesn't talk much. ❤️
I think every nominee in attendance of the Oscars needs a few drinks to be able to give their speeches in front of their peers. 😂
This year Christopher Nolan, next year Denis Villeneuve
Both are my favorite directors of all time 💖
Either him or Yorgos Lanthimos imo
Bingo
Why?
Why not?
@@YarrBr0Why?
Upload Jonathan Glazers' acceptance speech, this is embarrassing behavior
If you're making a movie next time,America now because we did absurd things to indigenous people, and I want you to make a movie about that.
It would be impossible to justify betraying the indigenous people and committing mass murder while they were given food, clothing and shelter and taught to grow corn.
gg
IT IS A SHAME FOR ACADAEMY THAT NOLAN WON AN OSCAR SO LATE, HE DIRECTED NUMEROUS WONDERFUL MOVIES JUST AS GOOD AS OPPENHEIMER OR EVEN BETTER AND WON NOTHING FOR THAT FROM ACADEMY AWARDS. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.
Jeez, get a life. No one is entitled to anything
Lol this isn't about entitlement. This is about someone finally getting the Oscar he deserved many times over.
He won because he showed spirituality in a very very very ugly way. Last time he simply made a joke of it in interstellar. Yes, its a shame.
Oppenheimer to film, który powinien być od 18 lat ❗❗❗ Niepotrzebnie dali tam taką scenę seksualną ❗ Chrońmy dzieci, młodzież❗❗❗
About time. Too bad they robbed him out of the best adapted screenplay...
You guys are so anti-semitic, not even posting Jonathan Glazer's speech
Lmao, this is a crazy statement 😭
@@KhalikOketokun censoring a Jewish man who spoke about the Holocaust & war?? Antisemitic behaviour
Yup. ADL needs to come after the Academy for its behavior to Glazer.
@sarazaman9643 I think you need to read an article or something… I do not think you will be so happy after you see what he said. The man essentially denounced Israel, a country that, had it been established prior to WWII, could have helped save the lives of millions of Jews during the Holocaust
@YarrBr0 I listened to his speech & he refuted his Jewish identity because his religion was being weaponized to support the genocidal actions of Israel
Yes, this movie is good, but it never deserve these assessments. It is all about the dirty politics
Finally.
