First of all, thank you guys all for the amazing support for the video, I absolutely did not expect the vid to blow up like this, massive thanks to all of you! But right now I'm in some serious university bullsh*t, for that I have not flipped or even touched a balisong for a few weeks, so my 2 years video will have to wait for a little while. I can not say for sure when it will be ready, now I'm just trying to get through my stuff and make the video possible.
this man made his own (functioning) Balisong that’s probably better then most cheap Amazon bali’s and learnt the helix before the Chaplin, max respect man
just found this channel...after one year of flipping...wow...looks fuc*ing clean man...I've been flipping for more than a year and it does not even look close to your flipping!
This video has made me pick up the hobby again man! Such a great idea recording your progress like that and amazing progression! Thank you for the motivation man ❤
You can be proud of you, youre such an amazing flipper now. I suggest you to learn scissors/double scissors, its the trick that Paper do all the time. This is beautiful and i think you can do it "easily". Have a nice day :)
Nice, you're good with the balisong. I've learnt with a real blade since it was the only one I had so I know the feeling of getting cut a lot in the beginning (I got cuts everywhere even on my legs when I first started) but overall the progression was really nice to see
Good stuff man all of those tricks were cleannnnn, I currently just got back into the world of balisong and I hope I can get as good as you some day. Keep up the good work man.
That's amazing man! I've been flipping for 8+ years and I still can't do those sick transfers or that z choker at the end of the video. Great progression in just a year. I also love how you also started out with a homemade balisong. Instead of popsicle sticks and a comb, I started off with a paper butterfly knife from the channel "crazyPT" during elementary.
4:28 BRO MY GUY JUST SAW HIS LIFE FLASH BEFORE HIS EYES LMAO 😭 also great flipping you got me back into flipping after like an year :'D you say your lazy hot damn i must be something else
Hello sir, since you have been flipping for 7 years and not for 5 months like me, I have a crappy balisong and I want to get a better one. I was thinking of getting a squiddy B titanium mod (and if you haven't guessed I'm a beginner lmao) so is it worth it for someone like me?
@@umerxdd7522 As notanotherperson stated above, a clone could be a very viable beginner option as they are generally inexpensive, allowing you to get the feel of what the more expensive variant of it would flip. I definitely prefer Squid Industries as they are made by flippers and have designed their balisongs based on what flippers would want. While Squiddy's are their cheapest options, they are still pricey to some (some of my friends included when they were first starting), but I absolutely recommend them to people as a way to train on the daily wherever you go since you can basically bring them anywhere without issue. Some do also have issues on the weight since they are lighter than most, but there are others such as Nabalis' Morse and Vox balisongs (although I haven't personally tried) seem like they have mostly everything that I would look for in a balisong while not being overly pricey. Sorry for the novel of a reply, but I hope this helps you get a direction in flipping, and best of luck on your training! Edit: TL;DR - Squiddy's, Morse, and Vox would probably be my recommendation as cheaper but good quality balisongs
@@bmuffin4243 don't worry, I've got the price covered. Been saving for it before I even got my first balisong, I only wanted to know if it flips good for someone as new as me, the weight also doesn't worry me since my balisong right now is very light as well, my cousin, who's been flipping for 5 years atleast, his favourite bali is the inked triton or thingamajig. I showed him my balisong and we compared them, mine was alot lighter. I just want the flipping to be easy (if that's even a thing, if your balisong makes tricks easier or harder lmao)
@@umerxdd7522i know this reply was 10 months late but I just wanted to say that if you want a light/easy to flip Bali I would recommend a Nautilus or a kraken(that is, if you have the money ofc)
I really like your style, I'm not sure if style is the right word, but all your moves are VERY satisfying and just overall really cool to look at :) keep it up bro!! 😎
Got my Nabalis Vulp today in order to restart the hobby once again with a proper trainer to learn the ropes. Awesome to see that you got over your fear of live blades and didn't lose a hand filet in the process. Keep it up my dude!
@@Fujiwara_SakutaI felt that so hard. I keep my live blade around for sentimental value as its the first bali I ever got, but I never flip it anymore cause the rest of my hobbies require my hands to not be injured 😂
This was really nice to watch! It's not often you get a glimpse into the progression of a hobby, especially since everyone wants to show only the good side of their flipping, and not all their failures. What advice would you give a newcomer to balisong flipping? What tricks would you recommend they tackle first?
I would recommend doing research before you decide to buy a balisong, I would definitely suggest a Vulp. The first tricks to learn would be rollover, fanning, chaplin and maybe some ariel!
the homemade balisong was so dope dude! also bro got a nautilus clone from baliplus which is a really good starter, i wish i could start with something like the nautilus
WHAT THE FUCK YOU PROGRESSED FASTER THAN I DID :AGONY: i only know a handful of tricks like sinister roll, 8ball, y2k, basic opening/closing, helix i think thats all i can remember but holy shit my man is a gigachad doing a helix at the very first day
