on the same page... we had the best of climate...simple living etc but turned out no different than our parents' generation... just went after english medium education... discriminated on silly lines of style/looks/color etc...and chased pointless careers... what all today's young people do... they have even worked so as to open their eyes to historical and civilizational truths that nobody taught them in schools/colleges... smart generation...hope there are many more like TejasviSurya waiting in the wings to help our country move out of the backwardness that the older genearations just don't want to let go of...

That being said, I have never been in support of kids being exposed to politics before the age of 17. Maybe it was an govt ad? The languages should never be a barrier to learn. We South Indian's (Specially Kannadiga's) are familiar with atleast 3-4 languages and most of them would not even learn them in their school / colleges it's only interest that creates to learn the language. Ex. I have never been to North India but I can write / read the language though I never took hindi as a language in my school / college, I never been to German but I can talk fluently. As an Indian we try to learn all language using the resource available and we hope you will learn the South / East / West Indian Language's too..
