How different are the Ukrainian and Lithuanian languages? I know they're both Slavic, so they must share some similarities.

Net patys LT mokytojai atėjusiems mokytis mūsų kalbos pabėgėliams taip aiškina, jog čia jau lietuvių tai visai kitokia kalba iš kitos operos, ir dar labai neįtikėtinai sunki. Nesąmonė, aš rusų k baigiu pradėt suprast vien įvykius BY ir UA per TV pora metų stebėdamas, niekada ruskos k nesimokęs, ir ne vilnietis, jog girdėčiau kalbant ne vien per TV. Kas jau kas, bet slavam LT kalba turi būt lengvai išmostama, nes labai panaši. Apgailėtina, kad su UA ir BY pabėgeliais maskoliškai šnekėti veržiamės, kai net patys pabėgeliai prašosi LT kabos kursų. Today is the 80th anniversary of bloody Sunday that was a part of Poles Genocide in Wolyn by primitive Ukrainians. Thousands of Poles were brutally murdered over the span of 3 years due to their nationality. Sawing pregnant Polish women in half alive, nailing Polish chidren's tongues to tables alive to let them suffer first before getting killed with an axe. Americans and people around the world should know about those facts to recognize Ukrainian mentality. Mr. Zelensky and his government does not help Polish gov and historians to allow finding graves of those victims to give them a decent burials. Remembering Poles Genocide in Wolyn by primitive Ukrainians, not corrupted Ukraine trying to force its way to NATO.
The population of Ukraine in 1941 was just under 42 million. As far as the Ukrainian Insurgent Army you refer to, I'll be generous and use the high end estimate of 200,000 members. I fail to see how the actions of less than 0.5% of the population defines the nation as a whole. And more importantly, it appears that Polish and Ukrainian relations have improved from 80 years ago and both seem to have moved on from the past. Perhaps Putin could take a lesson from that.
