French President Emmanuel Macron looked unimpressed when his US counterpart Donald Trump joked that he could he could send him “some nice ISIS fighters” as they on the sidelines of a NATO summit in London Tuesday. It was one of a number of tense moments between the two world leaders.

NATO's mission has always been peace in Europe by havings the means to defend itself against Soviet aggression. Macron is making excuse for the countries that have not contributed their fair share of this mutual defense by sidestepping the question and creating confusion on the mission of NATO.
Bullshit. NATO is no longer relevant. Why? Because the Soviet regime *no longer exists* and thus, is no longer a threat.
And before you bleat-on about Russia. Understand that the current Russian regime has far more in common with the US regime than at anytime in history, given that their respective governments are more or less oligarchal.
That's gotta be a joke. NATO's investment to the west of europe is really low. Most of NATO's expenses are on the border of Russia, and China. If anything, It creates more problem to France and Germany than doing nothing. Furthemore, NATO is doing nothing with Turkey, in regards to terrorism or threats towards other NATO countries (Greece, France, ...) NATO is truely braindead.
