      @paulgoodridge7957 the couloir was applied With a bush and A couple of light coats of Lacquer the polished with Hampshire sheen Hi gloss

    Lovely lidded pot Brian. This may be the nicest finial you’ve done, at least in the top 5. I looked at you show notes to see what you used to color this time but didn’t find anything. Would you mind sharing what you used? You did a GREAT job with this all the way through. Excellent!

    Very nice the colour makes it. Can you help. You were using the Hope tool for hollowing which I like but I like the Sorby turnmaster. Is there much difference I’m in NZ so I have to watch on you tube thanks Robert

      I have both systems Robert the main difference is the the Hope system has a cupped carbide cutter which is only 6mm diameter and removes wood at a ridiculous rate. I use that for roughing out and often use the Sorby as a finishing tool before sanding. Both are equally as good at the job
