I was getting worried I wasn't gonna have a chance to get any more piles burnt, we have been so dry. But the last few days have been perfect. Hope your not getting too muddy up there brother!
I think a permit last 10 days, but I will probably be done for the season tomorrow. I found a piece of that galvanized strapping that you can use for a firewood measuring stick if you would like.
Great video man. I love it! I have yet to burn my first slash pile up here, and im glad you made this! I would have used fuel! Now I will not for sure! Thanks for the lesson, perfect timing for me :P
Thanks for watching. Glad you found it useful. Looking forward to meeting you folks in July. Get together is in your neck of the woods I hear. Priest River is beautiful.
Bearpaw Timber Honestly, I don’t know an area up here in north idaho that isn’t beautiful!! This area is awe inspiring!! Lol but yeah we’re a little south of Priest River. This should be a fun time!
Beautiful pups...out helping Daddy. Great idea for burning wet brush. I could have used that idea. I tried a half bottle of lighter fluid and nothing. Thanks for sharing.
The dogs love to be a part of the slash pile burning. They especially love it during the winter. I will lay down a blanket on top of the snow about 15 feet from the pile and they will crash out there all day long. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for your opinion. I use the wood ash in my garden, and last time I checked using propane to ignite my pile won't leave any residue to leach into my soil. Guess I should've mentioned that for those who want criticize. 🤷
Hello friend,i want to just teasingabout the choise off words.I know you ment sasoline of course but overhere is gasoline-benzine.propane wil not contaminate youre soil.i also use my ashes in the garden from my woodstove inside (only clean ashes.) tomato's love it.Stay healthy, greetings from Belgium
